Excellent product.Using Hawkins cooker in my house for more than 45 years.This is my 5th purchase from Hawkins.This contura cooker is less time consuming, whistle blows very soon and due to its wide mouth it is easier to fry and cook.For a busy day it is a great help in the kitchen.I cook rice, pulao, biriyani, mutton and all sorts of dal, peas, rajma, chana etc.Point to remember please follow some minimum instructions given in the cookbook.Do not add too much of water in any type of cooker as it might overflow.This is from my personal experience of all this year's. Hawkins is my personal love.Great value for money.Thank you amazon for the beautiful product.

Very good and value worth product

I ordered this product through amazon 2 weeks back for self use. As I was hospitalized, i was able to use this pressure cooker only 2 days back; the product is defective, the pressure did not come through whistle but was getting released through handle. When I contacted amazon customer support, they said return is not possible and asked me to contact hawkins support team; while I contacted them they also dont have return or replace. Worst experience. Please dont buy Hawkins product. this is not value for money. this is too much for the price they have charged. No good support and all i got was burnt food for 1800 Rs.
