Power house water pump
I have an uneven yard. So I get a bit of a lake/small pond when we have heavy rain. This rain gets into my basement. I was hoping this would work outside when it was raining so I could push the water in the lake that forms and have it not get into my basement.I am super impressed and really happy with the results. We had a massive storm yesterday in Connecticut. Had 2 big ponds form one on the side of my house and one in the front yard. I was able to get rid of the one in the side of my yard pretty quickly as it wasnt as big. The 2nd one took a while but man am I happy. Having to mop your basement because it gets rain water is no fun.the amount of water it can push out is very impressive and it was obviously waterproof which is what I needed since it was outside in the rain all day.You just need a hose to connect it too. Don't be like me and wait till it's actually raining to set it up. Was a bit worried I was going to get electrocuted :) but did not thankfully

Works well.
I have a store room that floods every time we get all day rain. Water would percolate through the cold joints and floor cracks. So I created a sump hole with a perforated 5 gallon paint bucket as a vertical French Drain concept. The pump sits in the bucket and water filters though gravel into the bucket. The plan worked out well. I’m not trusting the pump to be plugged in 24/7. So I’ll only use it when the heavy rains arrive. The pump is pretty quiet, but it starting up did jump-scare my dog a couple times. 😁

Junk and dishonest seller - do NOT buy
Bought one in February 2024 and another in August. First came in good order and seemed to work well. Quit using it in July as water got hot (solar pool heating system). Started system again February 1, 2025 and 1st pump fails to start.Bought a second in August to split the system and crease flow rate. System off for winter. I opened second one February 1, 2025 and it is obviously used and defective out of the box. Shows wear, missing 2 of 3 adapters and popped the circuit breaker plugging it in.I’m still in warranty period (1 year) advertised. I emailed the seller as shown and no response in 4 days. I see the product price dropped $20 so looks like they’re selling off remaining inventory.Cannot recommend this product as above or the seller for shipped used and defective and ignoring customer concerns. Buyer beware!I spent about $135 with tax on 2 pumps, got 4 months of use out of one.

Flow rate is impressive
Connected this pump (with included adaptors) to flexible 1 1/4 pool hose. Used to partially drain pool water for winter. Flow rate with 1 1/4 pool hose was impressive. Pump works well for price

Good pumping action
The intake fitting broke on first usage. I repaired it myself since I needed the pump right away. After the repair the pump worked perfectly.
