A quality well designed product - just a couple of niggles
Overall this trailer deserves a 5 star rating as it is well designed and has a quality feel about it.It is very easy to erect even without the instructions which I later found under the dog mat inside the trailer. Simply fold up each side and then fold across an internal hinged bracing bar and secure with a captive pin. The tow bar folds forward and is also secured with a captive pin and the two wheels just slide on and click in place. However, my first little niggle point is that I found it very difficult to insert the pins as the holes would not line up exactly and what should have been a very smooth and easy assembly became a fiddly business trying to get the pins through the holes. I am hoping this will ease with use but as I am not intending to be collapsing and re-erecting the trailer on a regular basis it is a small issue for me.My second little niggle is over their choice of inner tube valve for the wheels. The tyres are delivered without air but not a problem I thought as I reached for my bicycle pump only to find that the inner tube valves were of the rather outdated Dunlop/Wood type. These are smaller in diameter than the much more common Schrader type found on most bikes and cars so if you have a standard Schrader pump you will need an adaptor which screws onto the valve. You can buy these on Amazon or any good bike shop. The instructions include advice on how to familiarise your dog to travelling in the trailer. My cocker spaniel dispensed with these and hopped in and was ready to go from the off. We have now done about 20 miles and she has taken to it without any problem. As a little bonus a nice day glow orange pennant on a rod is included which you can affix to the back of the trailer - except there is no obvious provision for doing this. I solved the problem with a cable tie.Niggles to one side this trailer does the job and is good value for money and I would recommend it.

Well made and very good value
The trailer has just arrived and I couldn't wait to put it together - took about three minutes, after which I found the instructions! Must be simple if even I can work it out. I promptly had to take the wheels off to allow my curious, post-spinal surgery border terrier to get in and have a look around. He seems to approve so I'm optimistic we'll be out for walks in the near future when the stroller kit arrives. The trailer itself is well put together and lightweight so should be very manoeuvrable. I have numerous bicycle pumps from many era so one should probably fit the non-standard valve. if not, from other reviews I assume it will be an easily-solved problem.Overall, I think this is going to solve the problem of an elderly dog whose activity will be restricted for at least the next three months and possibly beyond where not going for a walk is just not tenable!UPDATEThe conversion kit arrived and once I had worked out where everything went, was easy enough to put together. However, and it's a big however, the brake arrived without bolts. Amazon were unable to supply the missing bolts but instead sent a complete new conversion kit, from which I have extracted the missing parts and the stroller is now fully assembled and functional. The brake is better than expected having read some reviews but is utterly dependent on there being TWO bolts!Wee brown dog has now had his first ride and, astonishingly, loved it and behaved impeccably. There were many stares, some smiles and a number of conversations about the technicalities of the stroller/reasons it was necessary etc. I suspect there may be a few more orders in due course. The stroller behaves well, is light and manouevrable and would probably be a decent enough size for two border terriers at a push. It is more than adequate for a larger than normal BT. I have added a ramp to make it possible for him to get aboard on his own and a bit of cushioning in case of jolts and all is well. Very happy with a good quality bit of kit.

Too good for an uncomprehending dog
Such a lovely thing..!!I am an engineer, and this is now the third trailer I've owned, having had two child-carrying trailers before, and I can say with confidence that this is by far the best of them, made from lightweight tubing and nylon, with alloy rimmed wheels (this isn't clear from the pictures but they are), and with a quality not even my old SpokeyJoe trailer had.Other people have complained that the cross bar is the wrong length because it requires a lot of force to slide into place, but they just need to exert some pressure on it and it'll work. Without it requiring this force, you wouldn't have quite the rigid structure.Others have also complained about the Woods valves which I do confess is a bit weird today but they work and can be pumped up with Presta valve pumps. Many bike pumps offer a duel Shraeder/Presta value anyway. That said, I have a lovely pair of nearly-new Continental Tour Ride tyres now redundant since my daughter outgrew her 16" wheel bike, so I'll fit those and the Continental Schraeder valve tubes inside - it's just easier to rely on kit you know, after all.Lastly, most trailer allow for you to remove the wheels but this has by far the best mechanism of all. It looks good and robust, and doesn't require to remove small parts like circlips. In fact, the wheel and half axles slide out without there being any other parts "freed" from the whole. A very clever design and one that'll be totally lost on our little dog.Hope he likes it in some part. :)
