The Halo is an amazing ostomy appliance. I’ve had an illeostomy for 3 months and I am so thankful I came across this product. It is a life-saving and amazing product and I wish I would have bought it much earlier. My stoma used to get irritated by tight fitting clothes and seatbelts and me trying to lay on my stomach. Now that I have purchased the Halo it stays on 24/7 and issues have been resolved! The Halo is super easy to use and definitely worth the price point. Be careful to remove your halo before you change your pouch…lol. I’ve almost thrown it away on two occasions in which case I would quickly push the button to order another one. I can’t live without my Halo!

Halo stoma guard has been a wonderful addition to help with my ostomy. I wear it all the time I found that it protects my stoma more while I’m in the pool and swimming. I’m very happy with this.

I have been a StomaDome user for over ten years. This product was revolutionary for me in that it allowed me to wear all the same clothes I used to, pre-ostomy. No more fears of belts on pants or shorts, drawstrings on bathing suits, and seatbelts in cars. It also gave me freedom to continue to enjoy active sports like skiing and surfing without fear of damaging my stoma.When I saw the Haloostomy's product on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. It arrived in nice discreet packaging that you can stash anywhere and not worry about the strips spilling out. The use of this new product is the same as my old StomaDome but I have to say it is a big improvement. First, the dome itself is a little larger, particularly in its length and height. This is important in that it helps avoid the blocking of the entry into the bag. Also, the "hook" side of the velcro strips are now done in molded plastic on the shell of the dome. This prevents that half of the attachment strip from shifting which it always would do after several months of wear. Finally, the soft "loop" side of the velcro strips comes on a sheet of plastic, not treated paper. No more worries about throwing a strip away unused because the paper stuck to it when you peeled it off. (but you can continue to use any old ones you have on hand because they are perfectly compatible)Halo is now my new go-to choice for stoma protection.

Worth the money spent. It is sturdy and provides protection from accidental bumps, the seatbelt, and waistbands on pants. Bag changes are easy and it takes two seconds to pull off old bag and put it on the new one. Warranty is great as they will replace if lost or damaged and reorder on the velcro stickers was super easy. I recommend it to people online all the time. Best purchase for an ostomate.

It is great product. I don’t need to wear a belt or any type of bag as much. I am much comfortable doing regular activities. Just be careful when pulling off your bag when you change it, I ripped off the original Velcro from the guard.

I'm a new ostomate of only 12 weeks with a permanent colostomy and have learned a lot in that short time. So far this stoma guard helps to protect it from seat belts and some pants I wear. I've also found it protects it from accidental knocks against counters or other objects and since there is no feeling in the actual stoma it's reassuring to know this will protect it. The cost is well worth the peace of mind knowing the stoma has some good protection. The Velcro sticks very good and is easy to apply and remove. You need to be mindful when changing your bag to take the stoma guard off of the bag. I almost threw mine away with the bag because I wasn't paying attention. This is a great product and I highly recommend it for both colostomy's and ileostomy's.One suggestion would be to create a deeper less discreet one for colostomy's as my output can be thicker and needs more room for the output to come out and not pancake and get stick, especially if wearing pants or a belt over it. Awesome product.
