It is a cheap, low quality product. Unlike old good toasters, these have a paper backing behind the element instead of Bakelite or porcelain. Also the element is too fragile and the distance between the bread and element is soo less that while popping up, the bread breaks the heating element. After getting heated the bread bends a little (which is normal) and it gets in the element's way.It stopped working twice till now. Once was a wiring issue and the second time warranty people came and said the element is broken. The guy said he'll come and replace it but he never turned up and closed the complaint. I again raised the complaint, the second guy acted oversmart and joined the element from where it was broken. I did not accept his resolution and currently my case is still pending. I hope they will not ditch me again otherwise ill complain to consumer forums.

The toaster is not good. It is overheating on switch 1 & 2. The bread is getting burnt. Though it was bought in June, it was opened only on 1st August. Very bad experience. Would want to know if it can be replaced.

Good productValue for money

I find it has a detachable toaster tcover made of PLASTIC. In my view this is a defect in the design .The toaster produces heat of over 100 deg C .The plastic starts melting at 60 deg C .So , when the cover is put in place after toasting a bread ,, the heat in the toaster is sufficient to melt the plastic cover .So my suggestion is to provide cover of coated steel to overcome this problem.If you can supply such metallic cover ,I am ready to buy it .Looking forward to your comments on my suggestion ,Yours faithfully ,R.R.Shenoy

Product worth every penny, been using this every morning since March 17, its light weight (doesn't feel plastic like other products I have used), easy to clean (just open the bottom and use a kitchen blower from the top) and works wonder from just toasting to thawing the bread (I just defrosted the bread twice just to know it works). Initially I need to come along with the timer settings, once its all familiarized theirs no worries in using it. Warning- beware the body gets extremely hot while thawing/ using for a prolonged period.

The product was bought on 21 July esp since was by Bajaj. But to our surprise the product became defective on 11 Dec, less than even six months. I am agast at this. Will Bajaj kindly reimburse me or provide me a replacement. NO MORE BAJAJ PRODUCTS FOR ME. Disappointed.
