These aren't the most absorbent cloths, but if you want to avoid microfibre cloths due to microplastic risk, this is the best option that I found on Amazon. They work well enough, are a good size, and dry faster than more absorbent cloths.

I disliked the colour of checks, size of the checks. Why do you send miserable stuff different from the photos.

Fabric quality is good. Cotton . Hemming is done badly. Too much fraying so had to machine the hems again. Haven't wash yet so don't know about the shringkage. All 4 of same colour was sent though in the pic shows 4 different colours

Liked the stuff for cleaning kitchen and wiping utensils after washing.
