TLDR: these are 650mAh batteries, no short circuit protection, and the rest of the protection claims are unlikely to be true. Not a problem for usage in a GBA SP (so it works, just not what the seller says it is).While the battery is actually a battery and the correct form factor for a gba sp, the seller is actively misrepresenting what this battery actually is. I did a little testing on the battery as I was skeptical of such a high capacity battery in this small of a form factor and found that over 10 charge cycles the average capacity gained was 654mAh, so let's call it a 650mAh battery. I also tested for short circuit protection, which the seller claims the battery has, but the battery doesn't have that either. Not sure how the seller got everything wrong except for "battery for gba sp". For usability, this isn't that big of a problem, the GBA SP has charge/discharge protection built in. So these are real batteries that really work, just misrepresented and *around the same capacity as* original AGS-101 batteries.*Denotes an edit

Not much to say. There was zero interesting packaging here. They came tightly packed in a tiny white cardboard box. That's it. Otherwise I have no gripes. Two things I like are that they include a screwdriver in case you need it, and they also say "GBA SP" in very large and easily readable text, which is nice in case you misplaced these and forget what they're for. Since I just got them it is too soon to give feedback in terms of longevity. For now they're good.

These are simple drop in replacements for your gba sp. My battery was starting to bulge due to age and I was afraid it would damage the case or leak. I haven't noticed a drop in the battery life if anything it was extended a bit.
