Great bargain condenser
This is a great bargain. The microphone sounds good with no audible self noise. It has slightly more treble and midrange than my Audio Technica AT2035, but that easily corrected with a tiny bit of EQ. The microphone I received has no brand name or model number on it whatsoever and looks like a different model than what is shown in this photo. The one I received was indeed black and gold, but shaped exactly like a Neewer NW700, not at all like a Leihao BM800 as represented in the Amazon description. I strongly suspect the insides are the same.
