I'm curious if anyone could tell me how effective this is and how long it takes to work? What can I expect?

I suffer from medication-resistant high blood pressure and anxiety and have actually had two stress-induced heart attacks, called Takotsubo Syndrome. Although I'm on three different blood pressure medications, as well as an anti-anxiety medication, nothing has brought these health problems under control. I decided to see if the Solu n.o.w. tone therapy system could make a difference. I borrowed my friend's n.o.w. tone therapy speakers, and before turning them on I took my blood pressure. Of course, it was very high--typical for me. I turned on the n.o.w. speakers and held them in my hands for the 3-minute session, and immediately took my blood pressure again. It had dropped over 20 points systolic and 12 points diastolic! In THREE minutes! WOW! Needless to say, I now have my own Solu n.o.w. system and I even told my family physician about them at yesterday's appointment. We even tested and calibrated my blood pressure monitor to make sure it was accurate, and it was working fine. For those who wonder if this 3-minute stress and anxiety-reducing system can help change your life, the proof for me was obvious...seeing was believing! Thank you Solu!

I understand the reason for the three minutes of time, but I would love to know if you're considering making a version with more time or just an app?

Thanks for understanding our reasons why N.O.W. is a 3 minute aid to mindfulness meditation. For many reasons (that I've written about in my blog at our site) 3 minutes is an IDEAL length. We do not have plans to make N.O.W. longer than 3 minutes. I do have concepts for site specific products, and products with longer time durations –– but these are intended for different purposes and would not be N.O.W. I also have concepts for several different apps, but again, these would not be N.O.W.

What is tone frequency please?

N.O.W. uses a "Universal Tuning Standard" that places C at 256 Hz (and by cycle of 5ths transposition, places A at 432Hz). This is Michael Joly writing, the co-developer of N.O.W. I will paste info below from an earlier answer I made to a similar question. But in short. N.O.W. sounds true and peaceful because it is based on Truth ... N.O.W.'s tuning comes from "Oneness" (1) transposed by octaves to C256, then by the cycle of 5ths (and octaves) to put A at 432 Hz. I like to say N.O.W. is tuned to a Universal Standard of Oneness, and A432 is the result. I have written at length about this on my blog. I am not permitted by Amazon to post a link here. Please search for our site by using the term: N.O.W. Tone Therapy System. Then navigate to our blog, then choose the entry from 6 February titled: "N.O.W. is a Tone Therapy System –– it Heals the Suffering of Separation". There really is no convincing explanation for the use of A440 as a tuning reference that arose in 1939. In fact, some folks believe A440 was an intentional occultist effort by the Nazi occultist to sow disorder (I'm just relaying this, and not offering my opinion). In the blog post I referenced above I wrote: Harmonic Standard Tuning –– N.O.W. is not tuned to “normal” standard of A440 (which has no foundational basis). N.O.W’s. tuning is based on the reality of Oneness, expressed in sound through the naturally-occurring harmonic series of unison, octave and perfect fifth intervals. Proceeding from “1” (by way of Octave transposition) this creates a tuning of C256 and places A at 432 vibrations per second. Tonal sequences tuned to a reference of C256 / A432 have a more relaxed, open, spacious, peaceful quality than the same tonal sequences tuned to A440". At the risk of being pedantic I'll try to briefly elaborate ... Let us consider undifferentiated "Oneness". As we desire to create a tuning standard that has some basis in Truth, and thus sounds true, let us represent "Oneness" by the numeral 1. Let us consider the naturally occurring harmonic series that arises when a string (for example) is plucked ... the series is 1,2,3 etc. with each numeral after 1 representing a vibratory multiple of the previous numeral. This miracle of nature always occurs ... if a string tuned to a fundemental pitch of 100 Hz is plucked, then a series of harmonic overtones at 200 Hz, 300Hz etc will be created ... So let us take the truth of the harmonic series and apply it to our arbitrary use of "1" to represent "Oneness" in sound ... simply proceed by octave transposition (the 2:1 ratio of the first two terms in the harmonic series) thus: 1, 2, 4, 8,16,32,64,128,256 ... now proceed by "cycle of 5ths" transposition (the 3:2 ratio of the 2nd and 3rd terms of the harmonic series) thus: 256 x 3/2 (the perfect 5th) = G 384Hz ... 384 x 3/2 (the perfect 5th) = D 576 Hz ... 576 x 3/2 (the perfect 5th) = A 864 Hz. 864 / 2 :1 (the octave) = A 432 Hz. I have never seen such a simple and true derivation of the A 432 tuning ... there is no weird cosmology involving planetary motion etc ... just the miraculous beauty of the naturally occurring harmonic series in general, and the octave and perfect fifth intervals in particular. This is why N.O.W. sounds True.
