I have two cow ponds on my property and these little boats have been perfect for scooting around them with the kids. These are 1s boats that use differential steering instead of a rudder. The controllers are tiny and really are hard to hold as an adult. They also don't have an off button and will eat a pair of AA batteries overnight. Our kit only included one accessory bag, which is really unfortunate because it includes the charger and stabilizer rudder. There's also no alarm for range so I wouldn't take these out on open water unless you have a way to retrieve them. The boats run well, and they don't complain about which controller to use. They also have a "boost" button that you'll want to have turned on all the time. They do scoot around pretty good, and the kids have a blast trying to hit each other. We haven't managed to sink one yet. However, with the junky controllers and missing pieces, it's hard to recommend these unless they were really on sale.

A pretty good RC for the water. It works well on ponds, creeks, and any pool of still water. The boat is speedy and easy to control after a little practice. It comes with two boats and two RC controllers. Boats have internal batteries and controllers take alkaline batteries.Fun buy. Cheers!

We got these for our pool and they have been a big hit! Our son loves remote control cars, so this was an exciting summer purchase to switch things up and give the adults something we could do to play with him. Everyone loves them and they have worked very well for the last 2-3 months, and still counting! He is almost 6 years old - he and his friend are able to control them by themselves after some initial guidance. Really glad we ordered these and would recommend!

The kids loved these. Work great in the pool. Comes with 2 batteries each so little down time while charging.

These boats look nice, but it was disappointing, thr speed is pretty slow and the remote is not so good.Overall it's an okay option if you want a boat for kids under 5, but over I think there are better and faster ones

These were Christmas gifts for my kids. I thought they would be fun in the pool or pond to just zip around. They move reasonably fast and once you are use to how they move are fun to play with. The battery life is ok, so care is needed when playing on more open water you might not want to go into to fetch the dead boat. In the pool they zip around fast enough and response well.They are well build little things but I would avoid collisions as full speed into a pool wall would be sure to crack plastic. The batteries are easy to replace and there were extra props in the package if needed. These are by no means higher end RC boats but for the occasional play or younger kids they are a fun thrill and bring lots of fun.
