Rugged, large capacity bag, strap can bite your neck
I really like this bag, as it has one large main space, in which is a smaller hang section for keys or similar. It also has sections at each end for Nalgeen water bottles which is a useful feature. The zips are KY and so far there's been no snagging or difficulty with them at all. There's a smaller front pocket which I like to keep items which I need to extract quickly, like my wallet and phone. The only issue with this is, when wearing the bag on your left hip, over your right shoulder, the zip toggle is behind you, so you have to reach round to grab it. The strap is connected by two click mounts which are easy to clip and un clip. The strap itself is long and easily adjustable. I did find that when wearing a t-shirt, the strap's edge sometimes dug into my neck which was uncomfortable. It came folded up and therefore was wrinkled for the first week or so of use, which was not exactly a good look, but some use has smoothed out its appearance. The main space of the back is very large, and I've been able for example to carry; a towel, a pack-a-mac, a nalgeen water bottle, a couple of books, a power bank with cables, a jumper and my wallet, phone and keys easily and with room to spare. Overall, it's a very nice bag, just watch out for that strap.

I really want to like this bag a lot more than I do
I really want to like this bag, but I'm not convinced yet. I wore it for a weekend away and I found myself constantly adjusting the shoulder strap and messing with the bag placement. It could really do with a shoulder pad, the heavy duty buckles look great but do compromise on comfort when wore with a t-shirt, which may not be as noticeable with a outdoor jacket on. The zipped pocket on the front of the bag is good but could really do with one at the back of the bag as well for a little more security and separate storage. The inside of the bag is huge, which I like. It's a keeper but I'm not in love with it.

Great bit of kit
This satchel is very well made , strong and comfortable. It has masses of storage so for all you minimalists out there it’s ideal. I like it for a day hike and day camp , but is good for overnight as-well as you can use it as storage grab bag in your daysack. I know I sound like a fanboy but it’s in my humble opinion a qualities well made and thought out bit of kit. Also on a side not can be used for urban EDC also.

High quality Timelord bag.
This is great, I love it. Can fit a few water bottles/flasks in internal side pockets. Internal zip pocket. Entry of room, more than it looks on the outside. Quality build. I bought a shoulder pad for the strap. Not out of place as a work bag, fits waterproof hat scarf gloves and a fleece, plus edc kit in internal zip pocket. Would like it to have a second internal zipped pocket. Zips are the best quality. Very happy.

Best thing I've bought in years
Great satchel for bushcraft ,I am amazed how much gear I can get in it, really comfortable to carry when full too and when it isn't full it isn't to cumbersome. The material it is made from conforms to your body perfectly and also rolls up to about the size of a water bottle which is great for me as I can chuck it in a bigger rucksack to use when I've set up camp. The pockets on the side are fantastic for holding your knife ,folding saw and axe. I am so impressed with it I'm going to buy another one for every day use. I have bought and used lots of bags over the years and this is by far my favourite. In fact I think I might have to buy 2 more in case they stop making them. LOVE IT!

Well made, spacious and strong
I use this as a "scout bag" for carrying bushcraft gear or alternatively as a general shoulder bag as it fits my camera with 100-400 lens attached

Great
Great bag for taking the bare essentials into the woods or the fields. Loads of organisational features and made to a very high standard. Will certainly order more helikon products based on this experience.
