I replaced the old cr1620 battery which seems to have less signal strength with HILO cell battery and noticed a definite increase in signal strength. I don't know the performance going forward and have no way to determine if product truly has a 10 year shelf life.

I love having these on hand, so many key fobs have been dying recently, it got tired of buying brand name batteries one at a time. Between me and the kids we have 4 cars 8 fobs, and it seemed like one of us was needing a new battery every month or so. Maybe we were storing them somewhere that caused them to die early, not sure, but I'm in good shape now.
