I have been trying different Madagascar vanilla sugars after travelling, this one is the best I could find yet. Very good flavor, most importantly that is organic, so it gives you the most natural experience. Been using it for desserts in our location since then.Delivery fast and easy, will definitely order again!

The first thing I noticed about this sugar was the smell. OMG it smells so good. I loved the little note that came with it. The recipes on the back were pretty good. I was surprised how different granulated sugar was from ultra-fine sugar. Auto subscribed for sure.

It’s tiny little crystals, similar to popcorn salt. It’s not quite as fine as powdered sugar, but it’s a very fine sugar and dissolves quickly and easily in liquid. The superfine sugar is not as grainy as normal sugar, so you can use it as a sprinkling on baked goods without messing with the texture.How I use it: I got the super fine sugar because my son likes to make Crème Brulee , and the super fine sugar makes it more convenient to add the sugar coating , use the torch to melt it, and be on your way. This saves you the trouble of having to make your own super fine sugar.Taste: The sugar is quite tasty, sweet like sugar normally is, with just a light taste of vanilla. The vanilla is not overwhelming or overpowering, so you could use this in other baked goods and still adjust the vanilla flavoring. I was actually hoping for a bit more powerful taste of vanilla, considering it’s advertised as including ground up with vanilla bean with the sugar. There is actually very little vanilla flavor to this. It’s subtle, and you can taste it if you’re eating this in isolation, and really paying attention, but it’s not enough to really flavor your baked goods, or even your beverages. You would need to add considerably more vanilla to get much flavor into your recipes.Possible uses: This would be perfect for finer baked goods , to put in your Crème Brulee , or for a light dusting of sugar on other items that you don’t want to be grainy. The superfine sugar would also work well for frostings, creams, or sauces, because it dissolves so easily. You could also add a scoop of it to warm or cold beverages to add to the sweetness. It dissolves much more quickly in cold liquids than regular sugar, because of the fine texture. However, I would still recommend adding it to a cold beverage before adding the ice, as the ice will slow the dissolution process and could leave you with fine grains or sugar in the bottom of your drink.The main disadvantage to the sugar is how incredibly expensive it is. This product is currently priced at $22, on Amazon, in September of 2024. For about 2 and a half pounds of sugar, that is an outrageous price. You can make your own super fine sugar at home, with a blender, and it will be much less expensive. You could even add a tiny bit of vanilla bean, if you chose. There really isn’t very much vanilla flavor to the sugar, so that shouldn’t be the deciding factor in you purchasing this. You’re still going to have to add vanilla to whatever you’re making. Overall, this sugar is not a good value. It should cost a lot less, even being organic, super fine, and including vanilla bean. However, this is useful for times when you need fine sugar quickly. I can recommend this product based on quality, but not based on price.

This sugar is so convenient and easy for anything you want to sweeten with a high quality vanilla flavor. I have used it in cookies, homemade ice cream and my daily coffee and nothing is better. This will be a staple in my kitchen for now on.

Vraie Joie Co.'s vanilla bean sugar delivers a subtle, not overly sweet vanilla flavor. At the current list price, I probably will not use it regularly, but it adds just a touch of sweetness to dishes for special occasions or whenever I am in an indulgent mood. Its fine texture blends perfectly to enhance my desserts or to garnish my beverages.

I love how subtle the taste it. I am not a fan of overly sweet creamers but this is prefect ingredient. This is MUST have for any home.
