Sleek and premium backpack
The highest quality backpack I ever own. Premium build quality and it looks sleek. The only complaint is not having a bottle holder and more compartments, but it had a loop that can be used for tatical adjustments

Lacks organization
This is a nice backpack to look at. It is sleek, black and looks modern and professional. Where it’s lacking is with function. The bag is just a large pit and almost looks like a camera bag that you can zip wide open and pull out your large camera. Right now I am storing bags of electronic accessories because it doesn’t really have any pockets of its own for organization except one. That makes it hard to use with a tablet or a laptop.I don’t have the other bag they say it works with, but I imagine that is a nice feature. Not sure this bag is practical for me. I need more organization and function.

Clean, crisp design, very practical
This bag is really nice, it has a sleek shape and a polished look. The bag is structurally stiff thanks to the foam-lined pleather panels, it holds its shape well. I like how the front unzips like a hatch, the bend in the bag makes it really easy to flip the top open and access the entire bag. This is great for packing small soft cases, like for electronics. It has some mesh zip pockets on the side and the flap, good for cords and batteries. The top has one small pocket like for sunglasses and that, too, has a little zippered mesh pocket in the flap. These pockets are streamlined, they do not obscure the main chamber at all. The material is like the pretend black leather used for headphone pouches, but extra thick. It has the low shine of leather, but it gets water spots. Little grey rings where water dries on it. It looks crisp and fresh, but needs maintenance to stay that way. This isn’t a bag that can go thru life neglected, the outside needs to be wiped clean occasionally. The shoulder straps have none of the waist buckles of a hiking bag, just a contour and an adjustable lower. There’s some webbing that looks like it’s for leashing stuff to the outside, but it’s mostly for looks. It can be used like that, but it’s a little awkward. This is a really unique bag with a techie character. The 25L size is good for me. Bigger than this would be a serious pack, this is right at the limit of casual. I think the 20L would be perfect for most people.

NOT good for travel unless you buy into their ecosystem
I really wanted to like this backpack, but I've found that it really is not practical for air travel, even though it's listed as a travel backpack. I recently attempted to use this for a quick two day business trip and ended up setting it aside and going back to my normal travel backpack which cost approximately 1/7 of the price of this one. Here's why:It's too big to fit under the seat of most U.S. airlines, which is fine - I knew that when I ordered - but it's lack of other pockets makes it less usable than any other backpack I've ever used. Even for a two-day journey. There's no water bottle pocket and there's really no good place to attach a water bottle externally using a carabiner or something. There are a couple of loops on the top front, but they're stiff and wide and not really carabiner friendly. The pack itself is very light weight, but when you fill it with your normal travel stuff - clothes in a packing cube, toiletry bag, tech pouch and in my case, a travel CPAP machine, this pack while not terribly heavy is uncomfortable to wear due to the lack of padding on the shoulder straps. It also lacks a chest strap and/or a waist strap, either of which may have made this more comfortable to use. There is a side load laptop sleeve, but the design does not provide a cushion between the bottom of the sleeve and the ground, so if you happen to set the pack down too hard, you're in danger of damaging the laptop. Good bags have a gap built in so that this situation is lessened. There are either three or four interior pockets, depending on how you count them. These pockets are flat pockets and aren't able to hold much of anything that's not also flat. You certainly don't want to put your house keys in there as they'll poke through the mesh, and it's not even really good for putting a phone charging brick since it will push the outside shell of the outward. There are, in my opinion, three good points about this backpack:1. It's stylish - if you like the style. It's kind of techy, kind of sporty, and looks pretty cool. This is, of course, a completely subjective opinion.2. It's light weight. This is not subjective. I weighed this while empty and it comes in at 1.14 lbs according to my luggage scale. This is the lightest weight backpack I own aside from one much smaller 'packable' one.3. The top easy access pocket truly is easy access and it holds a surprising volume.Unfortunately, these three positives are not nearly enough to outweigh the negatives, in my opinion, when considering this as a "travel backpack". I think that this might be an excellent commuter backpack if you have to go to and from the office every day, but as a travel pack, it just does not cut it. Sorry Douche Bag company (yes, that's really their name or at least it was to begin with), I don't want to buy your other overpriced travel gear so that I can effectively use this pack. I'll just stick with my no name Amazon travel backpack I picked up for $30 three years ago, since it holds more and is more comfortable to use.

travel worthy
This Db Journey The Hugger Backpack looks like a fantastic option for anyone who travels frequently or needs a versatile bag for both work and adventures. I'm particularly impressed by its "Roller Bag Hook Up System," which is an incredibly thoughtful feature for effortless transport through airports. The durable construction and dedicated laptop compartment suggest it's built to protect your gear while keeping everything organized and accessible on the go.

Perfect for Traveling Light and Organized
I picked up this backpack for a recent trip, and it has quickly become my go-to for both work and travel. The 30L capacity is just right for a weekend getaway or even as a daily commuter bag. The laptop compartment is snug and secure, and I love the easy access to all my essentials, thanks to the roomy top pocket and mesh organizers. The hook-up system is genius—attaching the backpack to my roller bag has made airport commutes so much smoother. Plus, it feels super sturdy and comfortable to wear, even with a full load. It's the perfect blend of style and practicality, especially for people like me who are always on the go.Definitely recommend this backpack for anyone who travels often or needs a reliable everyday carry bag.
