Logitech K270 Keyboard

Just can't go wrong with a Logitech keyboard.Needed one with a small foot print non of that arm rest or ergo crap.This one fit the bill nicely.Keys are firm not mushy and so far working well.As a touch typist the "Feel" of the keys matter.

I do extensive work on my laptop that involves MS PP and Excel. The keyboard on a laptop just wasn't very comfortable for me to use for this kind of work. I needed a keyboard that was somewhat compact (for portability) and still offered the functionality of a full-sized keyboard (especially the 10 Key for numbers). I purchased one of these a couple of months ago and just received my second one today for another desktop PC. The product performs as expected for everyday use. I do not use it for gaming so I can't rate on that function. It is lightweight and very portable if needed. Easy to pair with another Logitech device with the Unifying receiver that they now use. Just make sure that the second device is also a Logitech Unifying device. I have it paired with a Logitech M525 mouse which only requires one USB port for two devices, which can be useful on some laptops. It says it is spill resistant which is a plus along with the 2 yr battery life. If you are looking for a functional, lightweight keyboard and have limited desktop space or need it to use with a laptop, this is a very good choice.

Replaced my 7 yo Logitech keyboard with this updated version. It works as it should.

I use rechargeable batteries and I've only had to recharge them once so far. None of the lettering has even started to wear off. It does ok even if the dongle is on the back side of the tower. The only noticeable wear is the middle of the space bar has worn down to where it's smooth and shiny as have the f and j keys and a little bit on the d and k.

This keyboard is working fine on an old Dell laptop running Ubuntu Linux 12.04. I was surprised to find that the special keys at the top: sound volume, calculator, etc. work as expected. I wish it were Bluetooth because then it wouldn't need the custom Logitech dongle, but I couldn't find a good standard Bluetooth model. The typing feel is average, just like any other decent keyboard. Caps lock has an indicator light but Num lock does not, which is a minor annoyance.

This is a great keyboard, this is my second one. I accidentally melted part of the 10 key on my first one.The keyboard itself is amazing. This review is for the Amazon warehouse service. The item I picked was listed as in almost new condition.That would be true except it was MISSING the USB dongle that allows the keyboard to connect to your computer.I already had one so it was no big deal for me, but if you don't have one it will be 100% unusable.
