This is a great sugar scrub. Sugar is a gentle exfoliant and disolves into a soft oil cleanser quickly. Its also a humectant and helps with the retention of moisture. This scrub smells a little of roses and is perfect for; pre shaving prep, and gentle cleansing of delicate areas like the vulva and face. I have rather sensitive skin, and I have never personally reacted adversely to any of the Medicine Mama products. Love this stuff.

i would give it 5 stars but the scent is quite strong and not a nice smell either. peach anyone? fruit? vanilla? musk? But, the product is effective at follicle care and does not tear my skin up. just be sure to test it if you are sensitive to added scents.

Medicine Mama’s Grooming Polish is incredible! I’ve truly never had a cleaner, smoother shave. It leaves my skin soft, hydrated, and completely irritation-free. I love that it’s made with natural, nourishing ingredients — it feels luxurious yet gentle. This product has completely changed my shaving routine, and I can’t imagine going without it now.

Maybe helpful for some people but for me it did nothing. I bought this for ingrown hair issues from shaving, did not help any existing ingrown hairs or reduce the occurrence of ingrown hairs for me. Honestely uses a stick of deodorant post shower work better than this. This product also has an overpowering rose scent. There an oil base so it leaves that scent on your hands, your towel, your clothes, everything.

Not my favorite. Smell is interesting and just don’t really feel like it worked.
