I am spoiled. I have made 3 trips to Colombia in the last year and have found that the coffee there is superb. I have been trying different brands here in the US and have found this to be one of the better coffees. When they make you a cup of coffee there they can even design a butterfly in the foam that is at the top. Coffee is a big deal there and they know what they are doing.

Seriously not necessary, nor good for the climate, to have all of that extra plastic in the shipping packaging. The coffee itself is in airproof plastic packaging; it's unnecessary and environmentally terrible to then ALSO wrap those two lbs. of coffee in a clear plastic bag, then in ANOTHER plastic bag for shipping. USE PAPER.

This is a great coffee, its taste and flavor are good, I used it for my expresso machine, and provide an excellent aroma and drink to my guests.

My husband and I were looking for a new bean coffee so we set up a home taste test. I looked at the reviews of several coffees on line an ordered a variety (3 or 4) from each coffee company. In the end, we both decided we loved Java Coffee Company the best but specifically the “Peru”.
