I purchased the age 9-10 trousers for my 10 year old son and although the length was good, the waist was far too small and he is not a large child. So I sent them back and purchased them again in age 11-12 and the waist fits perfectly, I will have to take them up a bit, but at least the waist is comfortable for him. The trousers seem very practical for what we want them for and they feel like good quality fabric.

These are great trousers, my son has had several pairs over the years. They take a bit of abuse, which is great for young boys.

These trousers look good quality but unfortunately they were too small in the leg for my son. I got size 9-10, he’s average height for an 8 year old.

Bought these for my son to wear to scouts. He's an average 11 year old and they fit fine. Needed tightening with the adjustable waist band but they don't look silly as some can of when you do this. Length is just right for him and he's happy with them, which says a lot as he's a fussy one! Material is reasonably lightweight without being too cold for winter.

The item sent is not adjustable. The product description states the trousers have an adjustable waist but this isn’t the case. The waist has a pretend drawstring and no adjustable loops or buttons. The waist band is huge. The length is great and is size 13 but the waist is an extra large adult sized! Would give zero stars but not possible.

Reviews are confusing about size. Got bigger size than expected but such a shame it doesn’t have drawstring to adjust the waist. Based on other reviews I could end up having better length but tight waist or longer length and loose waist with no drawstrings to adjust. Hence returning it.
