I've collected the Rolling Realms promo packs as they've been released, and one of the big benefits of this new version is that every realm that is or will be fits inside without an issue!The 12 realms that come with the Redux box are great, and allow an entry into the game if you don't have the original set. There are dozens of individual realms across the promos and the two boxes, so you'll likely never run out of unique combinations to play. The game is very quick to set up, doesn't require a lot of space at the table, and packs small enough that you can take it anywhere (it's a staple for our camping trips).Some of the realms can be a bit intricate, but the included realm guide is almost always enough to clarify any questions.

Rolling realms redux is a great stand alone game as well as addition to a growing rolling realms library. The redux box includes a great set of its own realms as well as everything you need to play rolling realms. The box is also great if you already own the base game and promo realms because it's bigger and includes dividers for each players color. The game is also just fun! It's a great roll and write with fun mechanics built around the other games it uses. My wife and I have loved it every time we've gotten it to the table! The dry erase markers included are also good quality and haven't dried out or faded yet after all of our plays.

Rolling realms redux is a great entry point into the roll and write genre. Straight forward rule set with near infinite expandablity.Those that are in the board game hobby will appreciate the connections to different fan favorite games. Wonderlands war, poker, Flamecraft, Rock Paper Scissors, etc. This is also a great way to be introduced to new titles!This redux box also fits everything rollings realms to date. That includes the original stonemaier set as well as dozens of promo realms.This game can also be played over video conferencing services or with the game designer over on YouTube.I highly recommend this title!
