Description

This beautifully designed receiver is an extremely useful piece of equipment which separates the essential oil and hydrosol water produced during the distilling process.As the distillate output fills the glass tube, the essential oil accumulates at the top of the glass tube and the hydrosol flows out of the copper funnel tube, you then use a pipette to extract the essential oil that is floating on top of the water. A pipette is included with the Separator.Assembly and Instructions for use: Lightly grease the rubber rings with any oil, then attach the glass tube making gentle circular movements.Once assembled, place the essential oil receiver separator below the distillate outlet.Assembled Dimensions: Height: 18cm, Greatest width: 13cm.Glass tube: Length: 14cm, Depth: 2cmMaterials: Copper funnel tube and base with rubber rings. Glass tube. Pipette included.Please note: This design will not work with essential oils that have a higher density than water i.e. sink in water, rather than float e.g. Clove and Myrrh.
