These are the second pair of Hey Dudes I have bought having been converted to this brand last summer. What can I say, they are extremely lightweight (weighing under 40g for size 9s) and they fit and feel like a comfy pair of old favourite slippers. I genuinely wear these for the whole of the summer period, due to the neutral colour they go with pretty much any pair of shorts and they look actually smart as well. The slight negative is that if you are doing walks on uneven, poor condition footpaths such as costal walks and also on stony beaches, you don't have quite the same comfort or sole protection as a decent pair of trainers.In terms of longevity, these should last you maybe 2 or 3 years, I've notice the sole tread wears quite quickly and my other pair which still look visually pretty good have worn noticeably underneath. You could argue this was due to constantly wearing them. This pair seem identical so I am assuming the same life span. Now again in terms of ease of slipping on, general comfort and smartish look they get 5 stars from me, but due to the sole wear, comfort on some surfaces and the relative high selling price I believe a 4 star review is overall a fair assessment. I have seen cheaper versions not Hey Dudes, out there but at the moment I have not changed brand as I believe the pros outweigh the cons.
