Installing this lock was very easy with well defined instructions and videos to provide details. It is even quiet easy for person like me with very less DIY understanding.It looks very elegant and has well defined code structure for safety opening. Also dead bolt seems very strong 💪 and durable.Auto-lock feature is an added advantage. Also take master code upto 6 digits and can have separate codes for family members. Design seems weather resistant for outdoor usage.Highly recommended and value for money 💰

This is the worst keypad ever it will not work can’t get no one to help nothing ! Installed it was good but it will not lock all the way and it’s does not lock without the key being in it ! It is horrible ! When you can’t get in contact with no one for help there is a serious problem! The instructions were horrible !

If the door is not completely closed, it will immediately sound an alarm to avoid safety hazards. It comes cleverly packaged with the inside and outside panels connected through the key ring. However, it is not obvious how to get them apart. Simply pull the 2 sides straight apart. It is only friction fit, but a little force is needed.I quite like that you can give it power via the outside USB-C cable in case the batteries die and you don't know where the key is.I didn't even get as far as the physical installation. However, the cable that connects the inside and outside panels is both short making plugging the panels together in a tad difficult and stiff so that you just kind of squish the wire when putting the panel back on. I think it puts a bit of stress on the skinny plug.The instructions are ok. Some text is hard to read on a dark gray background. It says Mater in some places instead of Master. It says numbers should be flashing, but they are steady on.It has an auto-lock feature, but that doesn't work well with a bolt and you cannot turn this feature off.It locks itself in just a few seconds after you unlock it (by key, code, or inside knob). Assuming you opened it quickly before it locks itself, you probably can't close the door since it stuck the bolt back out while you had the door open.This would seem to make leaving difficult as it will put the bolt out while you have the door open and then you must use the 8-digit code or key to unlock it while it is open and then you have only a few (6-9) seconds to close the door before it auto-locks.All codes must be 8 digits long.The menu is fortunately voice, but not always easy to understand. Especially when it says Mater instead of Master. Also, instead of going back to the main menu after a success or fail, it keeps asking for what it just asked for. You can hit the < button to go back a step, but that should bring you to the main menu at that point.The reset button is on the bottom of the inside panel and not hidden inside the panel behind a screw with the batteries. Anyone has fairly quick access to reset the device by pressing this for 6 seconds and then the lock is basically disabled until you set it up again.It doesn't connect to your phone in any way. No remote unlocking, no remote code adding. You have to stand outside to do any of that while navigating the menu.You cannot change what key it uses to match another lock you may have so it's one more key you need to keep track of.I wouldn't use this if it were free so I'm returning it. The real problems are not being able to turn off the Auto-lock and not allowing a user code with only 4 digits.
