I’ve always loved Icicle lights and the Govee Icicles are very well made. They’re very user friendly- easy to set up : both manually (no tangled mess) & setting up the app. I got the 33 ft one that fits just right on the front. The app is fairly simple to navigate and there are ample options to choose from if not - create your own!! They look very ELEGANT and sophisticated and creates a magical / whimsical ambiance. The only drawback is - it’s Not interconnectable.. I hope Govee would try to make interconnectable icicle lights in the future. I got them on Black Friday sale -but even otherwise, they’re a great price for the quality and all the versatile functionally including changing the brightness levels! Definitely recommend if you have the budget for it! You can use this product all year round - they have multiple themes on the app for different holidays , hence the versatility! Merry & Bright it is!

Update: Govee customer service is great! They shipped out new lights which got here next day. Put up the new lights and 24 hours later the new strand has done the same thing and stopped working after the little white junction box. In addition, yet another strand has stopped working. This brings the total number of strands to stop working 4. I took a risk in trusting the Govee brand name on these new icicle lights and it has bit me in the a**! Installation was a pain for the 300’ (4 sets of 66ft and 1 33ft) of lights I had to hang but absolutely worth it once I saw the finished product. The first two/three days I was so impressed with the bright and beautiful colors and scene options, but, that quickly faded when two separate sections stopped changing scenes after the little white junction box. After the lights were turned off and unplugged for several minutes in an attempt to reset them they would not turn back on at all. Now several days later one of the strands will occasionally turn on, however, they are brighter than the surrounding lights and will not change scenes. I submit a support ticket with Govee and initially they said they would replace the defective items, however, I was just informed they are out of stock and my only option is to refund. I am really disappointed in the quality considering the price of these lights, $800 worth, and I bought them all on Black Friday deals! These have potential to be really great lights but I am concerned when I go to put the remaining lights up next year they are not goi g to work and I’ll be close to or past the warranty period. Govee really needs to make this right with their customers as this is not an isolated incident.

Awesome lights! Very bright and very easy to customize and control. A million different options for colors and you can make your own customs patterns. You can set timers in the app and run programs so the lights are on/off when you want them to be. Just set it and forget it.

**Update: Govee reached out to me, apologized and offered a full refund. They even sent a free gift! These lights did not work out for me, but I am continuously surprised by Govee’s incredible customer support and awareness. I will continue to buy Govee products and this experience has only reinforced my loyalty to them as a leading brand. Rating changed from 1 to 4 stars after they made it right! Original: In the last 2 years, we transitioned all of our lights to the Govee system from Twinkly. I have never, ever been disappointed in a Govee product…until now. I was so excited to see these new lights this year! They are beautiful when they work, but both levels of mine have failed (see the attached photo, right side of both levels) and in the same exact spot as another reviewer mentioned (right after the plastic rectangle connector). We paid a company to put up our lights and now, will have to pay more for them to replace them or take them down. After investing $300 in these icicle lights, that doesn’t sound very appealing to me right now and makes me nervous about the other new light set I have in my cart as we speak, the Govee tree light cone. My return window has passed and seeing how many others have had this same EXACT issue, I’m confident this is a quality assurance problem on Govee’s end and anyone who has experienced this should be taken care of by the company (even if out of the 30 day window). I love our other Govee lights (neon, string, net, ground) but I simply cannot recommend the icicle lights and I encourage others to pass as well until they fix this widespread product failure issue.

I recently got these last year and they are just beautiful and amazing that my neighbors bought some as well lol 😆 Must have for Christmas and especially the variety of light shows it has featured on the icicle lights !

Works great for exactly a year. Had them up all year round now one section just flashes. Looked good for a year though. Update... contacted customer service and they replaced the hole thing.very happy

EDIT: They reached out to me promptly and sent a replacement the very next day with almost no questions asked. Their response time was incredibly quick, and the entire experience was seamless. The new set is working perfectly so far, and I’m hopeful these lights will last a long time. Regardless, what I know for sure is that Govee’s customer service is on another level when it comes to taking care of their customers. Highly recommend both the product and the company for their commitment to customer satisfaction! I purchased the Govee icicle lights on November 17th, and at first, I was absolutely in love with them. The colors are vibrant, and the different lighting modes create such a beautiful atmosphere. They were exactly what I was looking for to elevate my outdoor décor. Unfortunately, my excitement didn’t last. After just a few rains, half the string of lights has completely stopped working. I’ve tried troubleshooting, including resetting and unplugging them, but nothing has resolved the issue. This is now the second Govee product I’ve had fail in less than a month. I’ve already had issues with a set of Christmas tree lights, and while the replacement process was quick, I’m starting to worry about the overall reliability of Govee products. I really want to love these lights because they’re stunning when they work, but the repeated failures are making it difficult to justify the investment. If Govee can improve the durability and reliability of their products, they would be amazing. Until then, I can’t recommend them with confidence.

Lo compré pensando que sería como las otras series Smart que tengo nunca había probado la marca Govee, pero tiene un defecto que no sé si es de fabrica o de la app, y es que cuando haces una lista de efectos para que se reproduzcan automáticamente, solo reproduce una o dos y de ahí no pasa, tienes que estar seleccionando manualmente cuál quieres y cambiarla, me decepcionó

Originally i was impressed, unboxing experience was very good. Product appeared to be superior quality, app was easy to download and device was easy to add… i would have said 5 stars. But after two weeks the string failed at the middle junction point. The side closer to the power brick still works but the far side goes crazy, off, flashing , basically fried. Now i have to get out ladder and take down before xmas - very disappointed in the lack of quality of this product given its high price point. Follow up, returned first set , second set failed 1 day later after it rained . To be clear the power brick and controller are under the eve, never get wet. Only thing that gets wet are the lights and the “blob” in the middle… check reddit - full of people with the same issue… these are going back too. Do not buy unliess you live in Arizona - aka no rain
