Bought these for my two year old grand daughter because the super cheap ones kids get in the play doctor kits were hard plastic and would hurt her or anyone she ripped them off of so I upgraded hers..she loves them and they don't hurt, as much, when she rips them off of herself or any other victim who happens to be playing with her 😎

So they actually do work which is funny because they are a toddler toy but it's cool that kids can hear a heartbeat. They are really long, like comically long compared to my real stethoscope. Be mindful that the diaphragm(bottom part you put on the chest) does come apart. My 2.5 year old figured that one out on her own, it was easy to put back together though. Overall I would recommend this product

I bought this item for my nephew. He had been using a plastic stethoscope that you could not hear from. This item is perfect for him as he can hear an actual heartbeat. Would recommend.

It really works! Children love to hear their heartbeat.My only concern is that the plastic tips come off. I tried gluing, but then you can’t hear the heartbeat.
