I love the new style sighting lens. Easier for far sighted folks to get a reading. There are better compasses out there, but this is a solid middle of the road one.

As described, this an accurate, sturdy compass, at a very good price. My only complaint - and it is slight - it's a bit stiff and hard to open. However, I have a feeling that it will loosen up with a bit more use. I'm happy with the product.

Only issue is the magnifying eye piece needs to be better.... Have to adjust every time it's used.

This is exactly what you'd expect. A good sturdy compass. You won't want it for serious trekking or to base your survival on. But I used it to teach grade school kids about orienteering (WITHOUT A SMARTPHONE! GASP!) and it worked perfectly fine.

I’ve been in situations where I can’t rely on my iPhone to tell me where I am. I think everyone should be able to use a compass and map and pinpoint their location.This compass will do an excellent job helping you navigate and keep you from getting lost.

I love the fact that I can carry something so helpful to me in a time of need.

Got for my son who’s a Boy Scout. As far as I can tell it works fine. I’m not a compass conassouier tho so my opinion is limited…

Cheap plastic parts, brand new and already falls appart.No way it contains tritium as indicated in the title.Overpriced for the quality.
