All the attachments to this very versatile electric grooming kit are well designed, offering a 1.5mm-13mm trim length using the various comb attachments across two sizes of hair clippers. All the comb heads have a simple generic clip attachment so obtaining replacements is easy.The clippers cuts extremely close to the skin and requires an element of care the used without a comb attachment as it is easy to cut yourself. The blades are extremely sharp! The larger unit of the two has an adjustable ratchet cutting head so can be set as a very short cutting comb without using any attachments.Powering either of the clippers on is done via a traditional single metal rocker switch. The battery life is pretty good and lasts for a good while, easily allowing a few cutting sessions for me. Charging is via generic USB-C for ease and is provided with a cable that is long enough to be useful which is nice to see.In with the package are two trimming scissors which are nice and sharp, a small bottle of oil for the trimming heads, standard plastic comb, a large barbers cape, and all packaged in a neat custom fit hard shell caseThe entire package feels solid. A mobile barbers shop in a compact case for £33 is a bargain. I’m sure an experienced barber would probably want something branded such as Wahl but this kit would suit a trainee or anyone starting out. It’s certainly a good purchase for those that self-groom.

On opening, what was included was pretty darn comprehensive. Two clippers, silver in colour and very stylish, grades for both, standard and thinning scissors cape and oil, phew!! Pretty good. Got a good cut from both, no pulling or snagging and not too heavy.Took a point off as large clippers had scratch on back. Would easily recommend to anyone.

The clippers have all the weight and heft of a TV remote and the dull, golden plastic case only adds to the impression of cheapness. I flicked the clippers on and the display said the battery level was 45% but they only stayed on for 5 seconds and they sounded like clippers that were running out of power. I plugged everything in and let it all charge.Even fully charged and saying 100%, the hair clippers refuse to run for more than a few seconds. My gut tells me this is a faulty battery, which you could look at as being bad luck but I suspect is a symptom of the quality of components that have been chosen to build these.I could only test the beard trimmer, then, and even here the longest guard is 4mm which is not what I trim my beard with. I therefore used my old trimmer and 7mm guard for most of my beard and went down to 4mm for my moustache. On a positive note the trimmer worked nicely.However, upon trying to remove the guard again I realised it is a terrible design with no means of prising it loose. It requires brute force to come off and I am 100% certain it will break before very long.Trying desperately to think of something positive to say about these... the included hair clipper guards are Wahl compatible and there are fancy scissors, oil and a cleaning brush in the case for when I throw away the Hiena clippers and keep my current ones in it.

Oooh this is a fancy, blingy, eye-catching set of hair clippers (I went for the gold, I love anything shiny). The current price of £29.99 is very good – especially how it is a set so you don’t just get the clippers. The clippers are easy to hold and handle and quite lightweight. I like how they are powered via USB as you don’t need to be near a power socket to use them which is a bonus. The battery life is very good. The guard is a bit difficult to remove it really does need to be forced off which my husband doesn’t like doing. The case is very good and useful to keep everything together. The blades are sharp so take care. I'm not sure if it's professional / salon quality but for anyone who shaves their own hair at home, it’s great – if anyone in your life has asked you for a new set of clippers but not specified any in particular I don’t think you can go wrong with this.

Excellent quality! This hair cutter comes with lots of accessories and a storage pouch. If you want to cut hair once in a while at home, it does the job perfectly. At this price, it's not professional equipment, but it's excellent for casual use.I bought it to cut my family's hair. It works great. The blades are sharp and cut smoothly. There are different combs to choose the length you want. It's easy to use and not too heavy. The storage pouch helps keep everything together.I'm very happy with this purchase. It's a good value for the money. I recommend it to anyone who wants to cut hair at home without spending a lot.
