This Hostack 71" pantry cabinet is a nice piece of furniture, solid and attractive, and adds much-needed storage to my small kitchen. I received it quicker than anticipated, and was a bit concerned when I saw the instructions were just diagrams, no words, and it consisted of 30 pieces of wood and hundreds of bits of hardware. However, all parts were well marked and, if you pay attention and get an idea what goes where, it is pretty easy to put together. (I'm a 72 year old woman with osteoarthritis and I managed to do it all by myself.)But boy, I made a stupid mistake! In looking through the instructions and comparing to the parts I'd received and laid out all over my living and dining rooms, it appeared there should have been two of Part #8, and I only had one. So I contacted the seller via Amazon's site and asked if they could send me the missing second part. They responded promptly and said they would check with their warehouses to see if there was a spare #8 to send me. Early next day they let me know they did not have a spare part and instead were sending me another complete pantry from which I could use the needed part and keep the rest as spares.A couple of days later Fedex delivered another 100 lb. package to my door. Hoping to keep this huge thing from spreading, I opened one end in hopes that I could pull out the needed part without everything else coming, too. I went back to the diagram and the part I had to see if I could eyeball the new one while still in the box, and to my horror, discovered I'd misread the diagram and I only needed the one part I already had! So with deepest apologies and embarrassment (and anticipating paying shipping on this massive package) I re-contacted the seller with my story and asked how and where to send it back to them. They were utterly forgiving and kind, and sent me a prepaid label to have it returned to them - all I had to do was arrange Fedex to pick it up from me. Even though it was my stupid mistake that caused the problem, they were willing to absorb the costs.This whole transaction involved numerous emails back and forth, and throughout they were extremely responsive and courteous. I highly recommend this cabinet and this company, and will definitely do business with them again when looking for other reasonably priced furniture items for my home.

This is a very nice, sturdy, and heavy pantry. It has a lot of room and the microwave fits well (It's a small microwave). Some people have reported a bad smell, I don't have that issue. Others have complained that it's hard to put together. It is, it took six solid hours. But, I'm a 64 year old woman and I did it entirely on my own. I've put together a lot of furniture and stuff, this was definitely not harder than an IKEA chest of draws, but there is a LOT to put together with this pantry. I took my time so I wouldn't make mistakes or get frustrated. The only thing I had a really hard time with were the hinges. I suggest doing one door and ensuring it's correct before doing all of them. I also highly suggest an electric screwdriver, it's essential for the end parts of the project, and a large screwdriver won't work for many of the tight spaces. Overall, it's good quality for the money and the picture directions were accurate throughout.

I purchased this because I was in desperate need for some pantry storage in my tiny kitchen. This works incredibly for that purpose. It’s beautiful and functional. However, the pantry does have a chemical smell to it. It’s been open and out of the box for nearly a week now and still smells. Hoping that it goes away soon. Also, this build was difficult. I consider myself good at putting together furniture. The instructions were easy to follow but it definitely requires two people and several hours to put together. You also need your own screwdriver fyi.

I needed space for my cake baking project supplies. This unit is amazing! I have storage for cake pans, mixes, and ingredients. The cabinet fits perfectly in the small space allocated and I definitely got my bang for my buck! It was easy to put together although there were many pieces. The directions were east to follow. No smell, doors aligned perfectly and all the screws fit. Great value!

Great little cabinet that looks great. Bought it to move my microwave down and for the pantry storage. Everything was easy to put together and of good quality. It did take several hours to build it due to all the pieces and parts but the instruction book was great.

Tons of pieces and parts to put together, however the instructions were perfect, easy to follow. The labeling, the pre-drilled holes were all aligned perfectly. It took me a while to get it together, but the finished product is LOVELY. Well Done.

This took a while to put together but I thought the directions were clear enough to follow. All holes lined up. All pieces were there and in great shape. Took me about 3 hours to put together myself. I HIGHLY recommend having a handheld electric screwdriver!

The assembly of this item will for sure require a partner. It took us about 3.5 hours to assemble! The magnet closures are not the most secure so sometimes you need a bit of force to close the doors and the hole placement is a little off but over decent instructions and great packaging.The overall look of it works and it fits our needs. I will say the customer service wasn’t the best they were the worst part of my overall experience hands down!!! But if you don’t need them it’s a nice heavy floor pantry!Oooh bottom row is tall enough for a standard box of cereal, large and family size is too tall for the space. Hope this helps.
