Fixed my update error!
I did an update on my SG500 and was essentially locked out. This ink got my printer back up and running at a fraction of the cost of sawgrasses ink!

Driver Updated as 1/11/2025 and this works!
Just wanted to let everyone know about my experience. I just installed these cartridges on my SB500 running the latest drives of Sawgrass Print Utility, version 2024.6.1 (2024.6.1). First of all, I closed Sawgrass Print Utility, opened the cartridges door and replaced ALL of them at once, not one, not two, but ALL of them. Closed the door and the printer simply recognized them immediately. No prompts, NOTHING. I then opened Sawgrass Print Utility and it was all as always. No errors, printed several test pages via Utilities to make sure quality was still as expected and it was. Ran a full print head cleaning, mainly to flush the old SubliJet ink, and ensure this one was pushed in. All good. There is a lot of misinformation about the new Sawgrass Print Utility bricking these printers but I feel, after this experience, it may be due to user error. I am on a Mac running Sequoia 15.2 (24C101).

sawgrass 800 ink replacement review
I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but I cannot report how the ink works as my SG800 wouldn't read the cartridge; it kept saying "reset ink cartridge". I tried to reset on the SG800, but I had no luck, so I have to leave one star. Then I didn't get a full refund because Amazon took $10 off the refund amount for the ink being opened. How is this fair when I had to open the ink to see if it would work, and it didn't?. Ugh, off to the next find!!!

Worked like a charm
Replaced the ink only magenta for now and it worked just fine no issues and at a much, much lower cost! That is my only complaint about my Sawgrass 500 sub printer the toner is so very expensive. Oh and don't say that on their Facebook page they kick you for a month. lol

Best Option!
I LOVED these inks before the Sawgrass update and LOVE them now that they have been updated! DO NOT only replace one ink when you buy replace them all so it will read it, then when your out of one ink you can use the last of your sawgrass ink one at a time. If you don't you will have a failed attempt like some of these reviw videos lol

Worked on my SG1000 but not my SG500
Both my SG1000 and SG500 have been updated. The ink cartridges on my SG500 immediately threw error codes I can't get rid of. The SG1000 worked perfectly fine with these cartridges and the update. Not sure what the difference is, but the SG500 is out of commission. I can't get the error code SC232-16 to go away even with authentic cartridges installed now.

Ink cartridges
Seems to work well. Used 2 of the 4 cartridges so far. Will need to see how long they last.One issue is that while the packaging is nice, there was no Expiration Date (?).
