This Steam Shot is super awesome and has completely changed the way I clean. It works like a powerful steam cleaner and makes cleaning so much easier and faster. I’ve used it on my baseboards, refrigerator, and stove, and the results are amazing. It’s incredibly convenient, easy to use, and honestly a game changer. Cleaning feels less like a chore now! It is a battle that grinds a man down. Then this yellow beast arrived: The BISSELL Steam Shot. This is not a cleaning tool in the traditional sense. This is a handheld pressure vessel, a miniature boiler that harnesses the elemental power of pure, hot steam and turns it into a weapon. It feels light in the hand, but it hums with a contained, furious energy. You fill it, you plug it in, and you wait. Then, with the pull of a trigger, you unleash a scalding, high-pressure jet of vapor that dissolves grime on a molecular level. The baked-on crud on the stovetop doesn't get scrubbed away; it melts. The darkness in the tile grout isn't bleached; it is blasted into submission. It is a thing of savage efficiency. The collection of included attachments is a full arsenal, providing specialized nozzles and brushes for a surgical strike into every corner and crevice. The time saved is immense. This is a great spot cleaner for small, quick messes that take under 20 minutes. It takes about 5 minutes to fully heat up, and you’ll need to wait a few extra minutes before using it otherwise it may spray hot water before the steam starts coming out. The steam gets extremely hot and lifts grease and built-up dirt fairly quickly. That said, the actual steaming time only lasts around 10–15 minutes (not including the heat-up time), and you have to wait for it to cool down before refilling, which can be inconvenient. Another downside is having to continuously hold the button down while also trying to grip the handle and aim the extension tool it can be awkward during use. Also, there’s no scent. On the plus side, the cord is long, which makes it easy to move around and use in different areas.

I bought this steamer to help remove creases from my new curtains I was hanging. I tried it out on the new shower curtain, since I was filling the water reservoir in the bathroom. The instructions were easy to read and setup was not difficult. The creases in the shower curtain melted away instantly! I did have a few issues with the steamer. One issue I was having was with the hose attachment used to steam fabric. There is no way to click it into place. It keeps falling off, over and over. It becomes frustrating, especially when having to hold the base of the product (with the water) in one hand and the hose in the other. I tried to place the base down in a few different places while standing and steaming the curtains. The base would topple over every time, causing me to stop and pick it back up. This too was frustrating. I found that the thickness of the curtains I bought was too much for the steamer. The wrinkles would not release. I had to take the curtains down and resort to my iron and ironing board. Over all, this works great for thin or sheer fabric, it can cumbersome to hold and the attachment that I needed would not click into place. I did use it on my grout tile but I think I needed to use a chemical to brighten the grout. The brush attachment worked well.

This little dream!! If you are a OCD cleaner like me, this is your tool. It is so satisfying to see dirt in those little baseboard corners get dealt with. I wish the tank were larger as when cleaning the baseboards and window seals in a large game room, I had to refill it twice but then I guess it wouldn't be lightweight and easy to handle. Overall, love it!

The steam power works well, but the water tank is very small. It needs to be refilled frequently — even when cleaning something like a shower, I had to stop and refill multiple times before finishing. It’s fine for small jobs or spot cleaning, but if you’re planning to clean larger areas, the frequent refills can be frustrating. Good concept, just limited by the water capacity.

I bought one of these years ago and never got around to using it and ended up selling it. Big regret. I have some type of peel and stick tile in my kitchen that has separated over time and there’s crevices that look like it’s supposed to be grouted. I got this new Steam Shot and the same day started cleaning between the tiles. It works so good. I looked around my kitchen and there’s so much I can use this little steamer on. I’ve started a list. I can’t wait.

La verdad estoy sorprendido. Es pequeña pero muy funcional y tiene muy buena presión y volumen de vapor. Viene con algunos aditamentos que ayudan a facilitar los trabajos de limpieza. Me hubiera gustado que el gatillo de liberación de vapor estuviera en otro sitio un poco más accesible pero no es gran problema. Satisfecho con la relación calidad precio y su buena funcionalidad y tamaño

Bissell is a household name but my steamer worked only once and never again. I would like a refund and do not want to risk another.
