Real Touch Norfolk Pine Garland with Tassels, Christmas Garland (Norfolk & Tassels, 9FT)

Review by Mary: This review is for the "Real Touch Norfolk Pine Garland with Tassels, Christmas Garland (Norfolk & Tassels, 9FT)", by EnnbeRuu.This garland is longer than the usual 6-footer; I think it looks good & this was straight out of the package (pic 1), no fluffing at all. I must say, it was tough getting this out of the plastic bag/tube it was inside. The lights work & are nicely spaced (pic 2). One small piece of the garland did fall off, but I'm hoping I can reattach it - if not, it's a small piece (pic 3) & won't affect the look of the garland. Up close it doesn't look real, but what garland does? I love the length & will love the look, once it's up on our mantle.

I have the 9' Norfolk pine garland and I like the length of it since it can span the length of my dining room table perfectly without interfering with the place settings and it's not too puffy or wide. It also fits nicely on either of the mantles in my home. It has a soft rubbery feel to it (more like silicone than stiff plastic) which is nice because it tends to drape like real pine bouoghs. From a distance, it does appear to be real.The garland is actually a series of sections that are twisted together. That's fine except that my particular garland was never twisted together in a few places and even though I have tried to attach the sections to one another myself, they are just not staying together. Also, the light string on my garland is not nicely intertwined with the garland itself. It seems as though it was just placed next to the garland and wound around on the ends to keep it attached. It just looks very messy overall. The lights probably came loose because the sections were not attached, which allowed the string to come undone. Lastly, the battery box was very difficult to open. I had to pry it apart with a pocket knife. At one point, I thought I had sliced through a wire in the battery box with the knife trying to open it. For the price of this garland, I expected something better. At least it could have come with a remote so you don't have to dig around to turn off the light and mess up your display. It does have 2 settings for the lights; flashing or steady on. The lights are a nice warm yellow but overall, I'm not super pleased with this garland.

Yes, this is PE, which basically has a plastic feel normally, but in this case it has a silky feel to it that comes really close to the real thing. The upside is that this garland doesn't poke and stick in my fingers like actual pine garland does. This lovely 9 foot long garland looks amazing across my mantle and drooping over the edges. It looks like real pine boughs both from a distance and close up. I honestly can't get over how soft it feels. It is really well-made and attractive and I am wondering why I have never looked into "faux" boughs before, instead of torturing myself with the real thing that pokes and hurts and leaves messes all around my home. I highly recommend this garland!

This garland is very pretty. I got it to supplement my Christmas decorations, but am now thinking I may get a second one and use them to dress up my big living room windows. I like the idea of using the twinkle lights for a little extra elegance, or just plain as an accent to the blind valance. The greenery is made of a soft rubbery feeling material. The greenery has a lot of large bare spaces on the main "vine" but the bunches more than cover the spaces. I really like the mixture of pine greenery and green birch leaves.

This garland was very thinned out and not full at all. It was a single strand with individual branches coming off. It felt like plastic and was not able to be fluffed out to make it look more full. Was not able to use it for anything really.

The media could not be loaded. This Real Touch Norfolk Pine Christmas Garland looks incredible real! It’s beautiful and even has 20 LED lights that are operated by 3 AA batteries (which we were out of at the time of me writing this review). This is great to decorate a fire place mantle, doorway, table, or you can purchase more to decorate railing on steps. This is versatile and can be used in a variety of ways to decorate for Christmas. My only reason for removing a star is because I really wish this came with a remote control to turn on/off the lights, especially if using the garland over an entranceway. Beautiful garland that can be dressed up or down for all different seasons. I love the mixture of 3 different branch types, it adds so much texture to the garland. I was also pleasantly surprised to see it comes with lights already pre-strung throughout the garland. Turns on via a small, clear battery box at one end. It's the perfect size and lays really nicely on a tabletop. The branches look pretty realistic, too!
