chunk o' beast
This is a major chunk of steel. If you want a knife to carry all day and use for regular knife tasks, this isn't it. But if you want a massive chonk of a knife to add to your collection and use occasionally to make your friends' eyes get big, this is it. Despite its solidity, it's still sharp enough to use for the usual things, but not ideal for those usual things. And it won't set you back big bucks with its amazingly low price. But it is a good quality item. You'll need to use both hands to open and close it. The thumb studs... well... they don't function as thumb studs. They're tucked in to inaccessible notches and serve only as the opening stop bar and the closing stop bar. The fuller - the long deep groove in the blade - is not adequate to use to flip out the blade. There's too much mass and friction. Opening is smooth and not gritty, but heavy. Resign yourself to two-handed opening and closing. The blade clicks into place appropriately and does not have any up/down or left/right wiggle. I loosened the pivot screw to see if I could lessen the friction enough to make it flippable, but it did not change the opening dynamic. It just created some unwanted left/right wiggle, so I retightened the pivot screw. The frame lock bar flexes easily, so it's not difficult to close. If you've always wanted a good quality 'big guy' knife for a great price, this is it. Go for it.

Big Sharp Highly Functional
This knife is built to very tight tolerances. It can be opened/closed with one hand with practice but it should be understood, basically, as a two handed knife not made for flipping. AUS 8, properly annealed, is by far one of my favorite steels. It cut paper coming out of the box, it will hold a blade well, and, it is relatively very easy to sharpen. This may be too large for some as an EDC, but, not for me! I find it easy and comfortable to carry and it doesn't rip off my pants. It will not open in your pocket while using, or not using, the pocket clip. It is a great counter point to my " gentleman's knives in both size and function. I am very glad to have added this well designed, ergonomic beauty, to my collection! It is an extremely well done take off of a much more expensive knife. The value far exceeds the price for this highly functional knife that, by the way, has a glass breaker designed into it. This bad girl is perfect and made to last! If you get this knife it is of such quality that you will be very unlikely to return it!

Robust and well made
Great value. Robust design, clearly a Medford clone. Well made. Blade well ground, sharp, centered. Action is smooth, but, a bit stiff. Had to adjust pivot before I could open it with one hand. Solid lockup.

Nice knife
Very sharp. And almost as good as real Medford but far less expensive. Great for edc alternative. Does lose edge quickly but hey who doesn’t enjoy sharpening knifes.

Decent for brute use, terrible for any dangerous situation
Pros: Knife is a beast Cons: Locking nubs are WAY too small to assist in opening, knife needs two hands to open

so ugly its beautiful
This is a big, ugly folder that is so different from the normal folder that it, like a bassett hound, has its own beauty and makes one want to hold and use it. Precisely made, razor sharp, high quality Chinese knife selling for a low price....what's not to like? No wobbles. No looseness. Screams quality.

Chunk of a knife
For the price, you can't beat it. If you're looking for a knife that looks like the more expensive ones and won't be afraid to use, this is the knife. It looks good in hand, and came sharp out of the box. It opens one handed, fairly easily, you just have to know how to do it. This knife blade is supposed to be a little tight when deploying it, it's not made for flicking out. It's not that much bigger than a civivi bull tusk but is heavier due to the scales being steel. I'm going to use this for everything and anything because it reminds me of a $7-900 knife that I wouldn't want to abuse. You could probably use this as an improvised shovel if need be though. Finish is good, evenly coated. I'm taking a star off because the grind is uneven in the fuller and the edge grind doesn't go all the way back to the heel. Will update if anything changes for the worse, but I don't really expect that.
