New Balance Women's Fresh Foam X 1080 V14 Shoes

60 yr old female with usually 8.5EE wide shoes. For the NB1080 I ordered the 8.5 xwide - not the double x. FIT PERFECTLY! Slightly rounded heel, rocker heel, caused me to step backwards at first to find my balance. Now I get it - this heel design creates a super fluid gait - remarkably smooth and gentle walking experience. The arch support is very good and feels perfect for easing my plantar fascitis. The cushioning is excellent - not squishy like crocs at all, just soft and comfy like no other shoe I've had. Took a couple days for my hips and knees to adjust to being aligned properly but now I'm fully in love. Im able to walk longer and further than ever with no soreness anywhere just joy! Worth every penny.

Perfect!! These shoes plus my custom orthotics perfectly support my over pronated flat feet and allowed me to regain functional activity after being mostly wheelchair dependent for a couple of years! Along with specific PT exercises and stretching, I now have relief from my chronic foot, knee, hip, and low back pain. Plus they are still lightweight and breathable, so perfectly comfortable through the heat of summer too. If I am awake, these shoes are on my feet!

I love this shoe. I had foot surgery and my Dr suggested this shoe and was he right. It’s like walking on a cloud. I will buy them again.

I bought these New Balance Women’s Fresh Foam X 1080 V14 Running Shoes because I read an article online recommending them in the Extra Wide for people with neuropathy.They are very cushiony and my feet like the extra wide (in my regular size of 8 1/2) for my daily 1-2 mile walks. I had to change the foam insert they csme with because it offered no support for my flat feet and I put in a Superfeet support instead and that makes my knees and hips happier too.

I love these shoes now, but I had to make a major adjustment to them. The tongue is attached to the inside of the shoe with a wide piece of elastic mesh. The more I wore these the more they constricted the arch of my foot. When I discovered that was the issue, I cut the elastic out and now the tongue isn’t attached anymore and the shoes are much more comfortable I don’t understand the point of that design feature, other than that they’re very comfortable.

I was hesitant to buy this at first, but I am so happy that I made the purchase. Best investment for my aching feet This shoes are so great for my feet! They’re so comfortable. Especially I work 12 hrs in the hospital and I’m on feet all day. This shoes helps me a lot and my feet aren’t even that sore. I’m looking to get another pair for a different color. It has a great support. I love it overall and it is light weight too. Super great quality and very comfortable. It feels like I’m walking on a gel😂

I went a while size up. Just because other New balance shoes I have run small. That seem to be the right decision for myself. These are super super comfortable! I work at a plant. Walking on the shop floor is no joke. But these want all the smoke!! Lol. I'm also going to get them in all black.

I walk a lot at work, they are super comfortable and I recommend them 100%.
