I have used a few compost bins and the size & shape (and color) of this one feels just right. Big enough to not have to empty very frequently but small enough to fit in the drawer underneath the sink. The strainer/sieve design also keeps the moisture from collecting, so emptying it is easier, but it also makes the smaller particles like coffee/tea fall through. I will try putting a piece of paper to see if this can be solved.

I love this bin! Been using it well over a year now on my kitchen counter. Looks as new as the day it was delivered. Perfect size and does not hold odors to the material of the bin. Yet still manages to keep even onion odors contained. I specifically wanted one like this so I wouldn’t have to have a filter that required replacement.

This compost bin is made of plastic, fiberglass or some similar material and, I haven’t had it very long it is better than others I‘be tried. They were ceramic, Stainless steel and painted metal. They all required charcoal filters to cut down on odors. This one seals up so well that filters aren’t needed and no orders escape. So far this is the best of all
