I recently watched a very informative YouTube video by Johnny Harris on olive oil, where he exposes the endemically fraudulent and/or counterfeit production rife in the olive oil industry, and how many American consumers most likely have never actually tasted authentic olive oil. His video doesn’t endorse any particular brand of olive oil, instead, he explains how to spot real EVOO from fake, blended, or expired (rancid) olive oil. JH’s list of suggestions is how I came across Fattoria Bini Tuscany EVOO, and the difference between this extra virgin olive oil and the brand names we’ve all been using for years is night and day. The oil is a lovely shade of green, the aroma hits you immediately upon opening, the flavor is bold, slightly bitter with a peppery finish. It’s a little embarrassing to acknowledge but I have never tasted olive oil as vibrant and distinct as this. This is a fantastic tin of EVOO, as for price vs volume… you absolutely get what you paid for. I now know that the commercially produced olive oils I’ve been consuming all these years were either old and rancid or flat out lies. It’s criminal that companies are getting away with deceiving consumers and robbing us blind.

The product has a good flavor and seems to be a quality product. Purchased twice.

Strong peppery flavor that indicates the presence of high polyphenols. Delicious, but not for you if you prefer a soft or delicate flavor. It certainly pack a punch. The customer service of the company that distribute it is far beyond what I expected. They sent me an email, immediately upon shipment, assuring a cash return or a replacement, if the product arrived damaged or leaking, which I find it very difficult to happen, thanks to the thick can and strong seal it comes in. It's a somewhat pricey product, but less costly than many other products with similar high polyphenol count (1003). I'm completely satisfied with this product and plan to purchase again.

After visiting Italy last summer, I wanted to find an EVOO that was compatible with the quality I had while on vacation. I learned Italians take a tablespoon every morning to reap the benefits EVOO and I wanted to continue that for when I returned home. I’ve been drinking a tablespoon every day for 9 months now. For the money, this oil checks all the boxes for me as far as quality, taste, and it is authentic to Italy. I use this oil daily and highly recommend.
