Our granddaughter's PS4 older model controller stopped holding a full charge. Checked the price of a replacement. $65.00 to $75.00 Checked amazon for a battery replacement and found the exact replacement for this older model. This was probably one of the easiest battery replacements I've done. It took me longer to remove the 4 screws, than it took to replace the battery and button everything up. Open to close 10 minutes. I was surprised that the batter had zero charge, but placed on the PS 4 charger, it came to life and about 4 hours later was full charged and so far, have no issues. Anybody can do this and save a ton of money. A great $14.00 dollar investment and with next day free delivery. I do recommend this seller and brand of battery.

PS4 controller would not hold a charge. Also, it would not work connected to a USB cable. Replacing the battery solved all issues and saved me $60.00. Anyone with a small screwdriver can preform this fix!

Battery is fine but the connector is too small for the PS4 Controller. I cut the connector leads from the original battery, cut the connector leads from the new battery and soldered the original connector to the new battery leads. All is well.

Controller was barely holding a charge, great dollar value vs full replacement, and immediate satisfaction. Once installed and fully charged was back to long duration play, munch to wife’s chagrin.

Stop charging after 1 use. Charged it fully over night. worked once. Will not charge again. Purchased to replace old battery

Positives - The installation of the product was fine and fits very well. Negatives - Upon charging, the controller overheats (battery overheats) and stops charging after 10 minutes. I have only been able to achieve 2/3 charged and this requires several connecting and reconnecting of the PS4 controller to a USB. This must be done with 20 minute intervals to allow the battery/controller to cool. I am unable to send it back due to requiring a battery to make the controller work, but I still need to keep the cable connected at all times. Controller is hot to the touch and would suggest this is highly dangerous. Company, please contact me directly to attempt to solve this issues or replace.

What a difference on battery life. When your controller is dying fast, you’ll really notice the difference a new battery can do. Opening up controller isn’t hard, just be mindful of the triggers. Had some issues putting it back together but got it eventually. You may need to do a hard reset on controller. Mine wasn’t responding when I opened a game until I did the reset. Overall, battery is working good!
