I’ve only used this once but I love it. It’s easy to apply. The smell is a bit weird. But what I love is that it doesn’t make your hair too greasy when you apply it, and when you wash it off. It’s just very hydrating. I have used other oils like olive, coconut, and mustard. All these oils weighed my hair down and made it greasy after wash. This one beats all of the rest.

I have very thick curly unruly hair that is also color treated. First , the smell of this paste is amazing but most importantly it worked wonders on my dry roots and ends. I apply to scalp massage for a few minutes then apply to my ends and scrunch in the oil, place a satin bonnet on, go to bed and wake up with beautifully nourished hair. A little bit goes a long way. I have dry coarse curly hair and I use this at least once a week sometimes two times. My hair is stronger, shiner, and I am not losing as much hair.

I don't know if it was this paste, or the botana oil, possibly a combination of both, but I took my braids out and followed the directions on the bottle (I left the paste and oil on my scalp for just 3 hours), and when I washed it my hair was sooooo soft. It's usually hard when I wash it, but it was very soft and manageable. I don't plan to wash my hair as often as the directions say (maybe once a month), but before every wash I WILL be using these products! I only gave it 4 stars because the jar is so small.

I will have to use it for a few months to see if it promotes hair growth. Thus far my hair feels more healthy and the damage is being held at bay.

This is very good. I purchased about 3 so far. I use on me and my clients hair and I have seen a significant amount of growth since we started. Great for moisturizing and conditioning. Leaves hair soft and the growth is amazing to watch. We don’t use it everyday and I still see a lot of results. Recommend buying and trying.

Using for about a month. Easy to apply to hair. Not sure I can see a difference but I love the smell and smooth texture. Will continue to use and see if i can see a difference. It seems to be making my curly hair less frizzy which is a good bonus.

I was a bit skeptic at first because I got influenced on TikTok and I feel like sometimes influencers overhype a product and oversell it due to hype. I bleach my hair every 8 weeks, which means my scalp gets dry, itchy, and flaky for several days. Prior to my recent bleaching session, I have been applying this product on my scalp twice a week not really having any expectations. However, after my recent bleaching session, I was expecting the usual dry, itchy, and flaky scalp post-bleaching, but oh my goodness my scalp was immaculate! The only product I’ve added into my hair routine is this batana oil. I will update my review as I continue to use this!
