The curd doesn't get strained after some time. The whey gets accumulated near the spring area.

Great device for making hung curd/Greek yogurt/Labneh in the fridge. You don't need to use the spring press if you don't want really thick curd. The mesh is made of plastic (expected stainless steel) - but it does the job, you just have to be a little careful while cleaning.

Generally I strain water from curd using cloth but it would make such a mess to clean . This just feels clean and easy to handle. After all the water is draw I simply pour the water in a glass and store the yogurt in box , put inside fridge and take out whenever I need. I'm happy with this product. It works as it says
