PupSensei Head Collar
We have a strong little Jack Russel mix. Ezzie is medium sized but has a strong prey drive and he can jerk you off your feet (not something an older person needs happen) if he sees a squirrel, bunny or kitty. If you follow the videos and instructions about introducing it, getting your pup used to the PupSensei head collar isn't trauma time. I was amazed at how quickly (with cookies and praise) he accepted it. I took him outside for a little walk to distract him after I put it on him, and he walked like a gentleman! I am so happy and amazed. We tried another brand but it was an inch wide and came into his eyes but this one is just perfect because it is thin on his shorter snout and yet it is still padded. Adjusting it was very easy too. I love the padding, reflecting design, ease of applying it, it seems well made, and that it WORKS! We won't be embarrassed to take him with us anymore. No more pulling and choking himself. And even at this low price you get a nice matching blue leash with reflective design and padded handle. We are very happy!

Prevents pulling and includes leash
Works great to prevent my dog from pulling at a low price.

Defective
Halter clip around the nose doesn’t stay locked, dog can wiggle until it pops open and then is basically like having a regular collar. Don’t cheap out, my the real gentle leader.

No pull from dogs
It works well. Dogs don't pull when using this leash.

Helps with pulling, just won't stay on
I like it, it fits my dog well and helps tremendously with him pulling. We believe he's a Malinois Pit mix. I love Jenna leaders because it's a much more humane way of training, getting control over pulling. The only problem is the strap that goes behind his ears keeps getting loose and then he's able to pull his whole head out, we're trying to figure out how to fix that.

They work!
I purchased two of these for my poodle/spaniel mix puppies. They both pull with such incredible force during walks. I was having shoulder and back pain after walks. A neighbor told me about gentle leads for dogs who like to pull and are struggling with training. I ordered the least expensive ones I could find on Amazon to try.I was surprised when the leads arrived with a leash as well. It took a minute to adjust the lead to each dog’s head, but then I was able to take them for a walk. Instantly the dogs decided they hate the leads, and I love them! It takes 90 percent of our struggles away. When a dog tries to lunge away (after a bird) or pull in another direction, their head is pulled in the opposite direction. The lead is not painful to them like a choke chain; they honestly find it annoying. Now my puppies try to push the lead off for the first ten minutes of our walks. They eventually settle in and walk like well trained dogs. I am hopeful that over time they will accept this as their new normal and stop fighting the lead. It’s a great training tool if you have a dog who pulls.

Does not work
Horrible. The metal clip that tightens the harness around the nose does not stay clipped and comes loose on every walk multiple times. Inefficient product that does not function properly. Do not recommend.
