Great product, definitely worth it!
Worked perfectly. It has 4 different screw/pin sizes, one thats already on the unit and three separate ones you can always change to. Needed something like this to adjust a watch a recently bought and didnt want to go to a jeweler to get a cheap watch adjusted. I watched a couple youtube videos on how to adjust the band and eventually got to someone using one of these because I didn't want to use tacs to take the screws/pin out of watch. I also wanted something that would last decently long so didn't want to go for the plastic one because i heard it breaks easily. So far very satisfied and would recommend to others, was able to resize my watch band in literally less then 5 minutes. Great product!

Small learning curve and steady hands required
Probably one of the best things I've ever spent $6 on, and saved $10 - $20 + a trip to the store. Now, there is a small learning curve required and it DOES take patience and steady hands to use this item. There is nothing to actually clip the watch into place so you have to hold it while twisting the mechanism which is harder than it seems. I found using the included cloth folded on itself to prop the watch on raised to the level required (my watch bands are tiny). The vertical control is useless and gets in the way of the mechanism's movement. Also be aware of the directions of the arrows and the loop on your pin. It doesn't seem like a big thing, but if you put the pin back into the watch in the incorrect direction, you will run into issues if you have to remove it again. The loop on the pin should be the same way the arrow is facing. I.e. if the arrow is pointing left, the loop of the pin should be on the left hand side. To remove the pin, follow the direction of the arrow. To reinsert the pin, reverse the direction of the arrow/watch. Take your time. It took me about 30 - 45 min to size the first watch. Now it takes about 5 min to size a watch.

It works well (but you have to guide it still)
The product works and pays for itself with one use. There is a reason it comes with many extra pins...you can bend them in the process. So this is not set it and forget it. You have to watch the alignment (it's not hard but I bent 2 pins). The feeling of adjusting your own watch is very satisfying, well worth giving it a try!

sloppy but works if you are careful
The threading on both screws are terrible, sloppy and should be a fine thread, not coarse. Especially the base which was just junk. The tool did work, you must be very careful on centering the drive pin into the holes on your band, it takes some finesse and I use a magnifier to watch (pun intended) carefully while driving the pin in. If you have a mini vise, I would secure this tool in the vise and work it from there, trying to juggle all of this in your hands is challenging. In the end, it did work for me on several bands that I needed to remove links from. Before I bought this I used a cut length of paper clip and a tiny mallet to drive pins out of watch bands, which worked as well, but this tool is marginally better and more precise. Using the word precise in relation to this tool...made me cringe, but "more precise" is relative.

It takes patience
This product is easy to use - if you are having problem with the height of the platform with your watch and the screw handle lining up. Just put the terry cloth that come with the kit on the platform to add height to the platform and it acts a protector barrier between the metal platform and your watch. This is how I removed my watch brackets effectively.

Be your own watch repairman.
Fast and efficient and will save you money! It took me about 15 minutes to remove 2 links each on a total of 5 new watches!!! It would have cost me $10 to $15 per watch at the repair shop. My BEST buy all year.
