Fantastic
These were not made to fit a 1998 Honda civic but I got them to fit. I had to modify them with Weller 140w soldering iron with the plastic melting head. I trimmed about 2mm around the whole 6.5 and got them to fit the front doors. The rear 6x9 fit perfectly and both sound great on my Pioneer MVH-S522BS. I ordered a planet audio 800.4 amp which should enhance these even more.

Another great Alpine product.
If you know Alpine you know that the Type-R’s are awesome speakers. These are no exception. They sound great and look great. The price point is perfect for great quality sound but not breaking the bank for extreme bass and loudness. I hooked them up to an amp for extra added power and bass. Would recommend!
