This is my second retrax unit , this time I went with the aluminum retrax pro. Looks great on the truck and after 3+ years of owning the retrax poly Bed cover I am happy I went with the upgrade this time, opens/closes smooth and love the T slots on the sides. T slots come in handy mounting my bikes or adding tie downs. Awesome product . Take the time and do your measurements while installing and check them again according to the instructions fit is great and easy to adjust if needed.

Dollar for dollar the best rolling cover on the market. Sturdy and able to take a beating, great water and dust proofing and simple and easy to use.

The Retrax MX Pro retractable bed cover looks extremely better than any picture. The Black matte finish is perfect. Very easy to install, took less than a hour. Super sturdy, and no water leaks, made 10 passes thru car wash and a few heavy rain storms. Purchased from Vehicle Things, they were Great! They upgraded my order due to depleted supply levels of the MX Pro and shipped the Pro XR, for no additional costs, or delay in scheduled delivery. You can't beat kind of customer service! Top Notch!

I put this thing on myself in a little under an hour. Wasn't too bad and wasn't too heavy that I couldn't lift it up and put it on myself. (About 100lbs)Dislikes: Cost. Wow is this thing expensive. Came with a small dent in it (pictured). Because of its size, weight, and effort to put it together. Deff look the thing over before you put it all together. Roll out the cover all the way. I had a dent 2-3 feet into the roll. It was tiny, so I'll just keep it.Likes: Thing is solid when locked. Ignoring the dent comment before. I feel like I could jump on it (wouldn't recommend that)The tract system (hard to find on solid rolling covers)Looks better than the pictures let onUnlike the other review. It seals my bed well

I’ll add video later: but this was an amazing buy. It was about a medium difficulty to install, but the instructions are detailed and easy to follow. You can’t go wrong!Pay extra attention to spacing when installing (the instructions outline it all) and the track will glide perfectly!! So far, I installed it, drove 2000 miles across the country, and drove all over my local area, and the clamps haven’t even needed to be tightened.It’s as waterproof as you can get: I caught rain in Colorado Rockies, and only minor water intrusion!!! My luggage remained dry! I’ve also ran it through a car wash once already, and again, only minor water intrusion. Less than other soft covers I’ve seen! Photo attached is all that got in during a crazy Midwest thunderstorm that lasted halfway through the night!!I don’t have crossbars installed yet, and I wish Retrax sold a specific crossbar set, as finding Tslot towers/mounts is harder than expected (but not too difficult).Overall, excellent buy, I’m already recommending them to family and friends with trucks! I couldn’t be happier!

When you see how well the components are packaged, it is evident that the engineering philosophy is first rate. Any retractable cover has the small disadvantage of bed space being taken up by the canister. I was initially concerned about this because there is little information or diagrams to rely on. Upon installation, the canister sets high enough to allow longer items to extend underneath and works well for my needsThe utility and convenience of the Retrax PRO XL was a no-brainer for me due to the bed rail tracks being a must-have. The product is well designed and executed, very pleased with the result on my 2022 Ram Rebel

After only two months of light use the gasket on the rails has started falling apart making the cover no longer water-proof. I contacted RETRAX support about their lifetime warranty and they told me that they could not help me because the problem must be related to how I installed it, even though they have no evidence that it was not installed correctly.

I did this install by myself in less than an hour. I’ve had it for about a month and zero water has been able to get into the truck bed. Love this cover.
