I've suffered from acid reflux for around 15 years. It's been getting progressively worse, even though I've been taking Rennie and Nexium tablets. After seeing a YouTube video by Dr Eric Berg that recommended taking Betaine HCl, I thought I'd give it a try. It worked immediately. You have to experiment with the quantity at first till you find out what's right for you. But I no longer have acid reflux and can sleep through the night undisturbed. It might not work for everyone as they may have other problems. But it's worth a try!

Vegan is to swallow capsules and good value for your money plus there is no after taste i would say there effectiveness is good as well also they are quite slender and not bulky like the tablet form

I wanted to try these because my doctor prescribed me a PPI which I was reluctant to take if you do your research on them. I've had a very uncomfortable, swollen throat for over 4 months now and they thought it could be related to my stomach acid levels and silent reflux. First of all, you don't know if you have high or low stomach acid unless they do checks on you which is very intrusive, so I wanted to try these out to see if it was obvious which one I *might* have. Ive tried a fair few times taking 1 capsule and there was definitely more movement going on in my stomach/intestines, but 2 capsules was too much for me. In the end, I don't believe it has anything to do with stomach acid levels, and managed to get an ENT appointment to be checked out. I wouldn't write these off though, definitely try them if you get heartburn, acid reflux, trouble digesting etc. These would be great if you know you're going to eat a big meal as it will help digest all the food!

A kinesiologist recommended that my daughter take a Betaine HCL supplement to address the acidity in her stomach which was causing sharp shooting (not joint) pains in her body. I decided to take them too. Our digestive systems are definitely working better. Bloating and gas has gone. Shooting pains gone. Have been taking for just over a month. I take after my biggest meal of the day but I think you have find what suits you as some people take before a meal or half way through. This brand appears, so far, to be good value so will be sticking with them. A small price to pay for a general feeling of improved well being. Have also started taking a bio culture complex to 're populate the gut with good bacteria.

Husband saw an advert for these to help his acid reflux probs, been using them for several weeks now, and he says they help for sure.
