Works exactly as advertised. Bought these to work the hydraulic system on one of my CNC machines. I didn't need this many gauges and fittings but figured I can use them to check the pressures on my excavator and other hydraulic equipment in the future. The fitted case is nice to keep everything organized.

I got this “Drkerr Hydraulic Pressure Test Kit, 5 Gauges (10/25/40/60/60MPa) Max 8700psi” kit to prepare for some upgrades and service on all our hydraulic equipment; from a wood splitter to a big Kubota TLB. Most of the fittings I use are included in the kit. I’ll have to order some adapters for the Kubota. This kit helped me find a leaking internal seal on the splitter. I could have probably found it without the kit, but the kit helped confirm the issue. I’m already planning new projects, I’m sure this tool will get used several times per year by me. It’s not a high end tool, but it works fine for my purposes, and it is a good value.

I'm a moble mechanic and work on hydraulics daily they work perfectly no leaks the hoses feel a bit cheap but haven't had a problem the gauges stay accurate even bouncing around in the back of my van on gravel roads.

Got this to check the hydraulic pressure on my tractor. This is not an easy task. Nothing is labeled and you need a schematic diagram to see where to connect in order to test. So far, I have not found such a diagram, so unfortunately, have not been able to use this kit. However, in looking the kit over, I am impressed with the amount of various connectors and such. There is a gauge, connector...etc. to fit just about any configuration. And it is a heavy kit which makes me feel it is of quality material. I wish I could comment on how it actually performs, but until I am able to use this, I can speak of the things I do see. I have used similar pressure testing gauges before on machinery I am familiar with. These seem like they are just as good from the standpoint of quality appearance, and flexibility.

I was very disappointed after using it. The parts in this kit are of poor quality, and some parts leaked oil during use, which prevented the test from being carried out properly. Considering the price, I expected more quality assurance and better experience. Overall, this was not a pleasant purchase experience and I would not recommend it to others.

This kit may not be the highest quality, but for a non-professional mechanic like myself, it gets the job done. It won't see frequent use in my shop, but it has already paid for itself compared to the cost and hassle of taking equipment to a professional. I used it on a 1975 John Deere backhoe and found all the pieces I needed to pressure test the hydraulic system. For occasional use, which is likely why most people would buy this kit, it fits the bill perfectly. While some might criticize the finish quality, the kit performs as advertised and offers a good value considering the number of fittings included.

So far seems to be a pretty good set.
