I have only used this a couple times, but it makes my hair soft. The smell is mild, I think, reminds me of a very milky latte smell, but not over powering. Once oil was on my hair, I didn’t smell it either. Seems to be a quality oil.

Smells like coffee as they say it should, has brown creamy consistency, and moisturizes very well. My scalp hasn't felt this good in years. I wish it had authentic organic certification, however.

Good.... but made in mixture with other ingredients... in sum my perception is the manufactures want it to be used up VERY FAST and have you come back VERY FAST to buy more. Potency is also in question, but at least okay...

The Batana Oil itself feels good quality, and I’ve noticed my hair feels shiny after using it. However, the packaging mentions essential oils, which made me wonder if it’s truly 100% pure. Also, the strong cocoa smell is overpowering; I wish it were milder. For these reasons, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. For those seeking entirely unadulterated oil, this might be a bit confusing. It works well for hair repair, but ingredient transparency would be appreciated.
