This is a great universal toy for kids, all of my children of various ages from 3-11 enjoy drawing on this light up board. The colors pop and the light up function is a great addition to their drawings. The markers are very pigmented and have a great color payoff. Thee board wipes clean easily and makes for hours of continuos fun. I am very pleased with this toy.

This is a really fun drawing board. The kids have a really fun time with this. They're able to draw well. It's really bright as well. Overall great quality and highly recommend.

Poor quality. The lights did not work. My husband even took it apart and put it back together an was unable to get the lights to work. We were really looking forward to this item.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Not a fan of this light board. It does light up the colored pens and I like that the tracing papers slide into the board instead of having to lay it underneath, but after a few cleanings, the screen gets tiny scratches and starts to look foggy. The kids are having fun with it and they aren't bothered by the scratches but for $30.00 the screen should be better quality.

Both my 4 and 10 year old love this. It came with multiple slides. You easily slide it into the top of the drawing board. Then you are using the marker on the acrylic surface rather than the pages themselves, allowing for endless erasable fun. Some of the pages have educational material like puzzles or letter tracing. Some are just for coloring. It includes 6 markers and an eraser cloth. Great value for the price. So far, the screen has not scratched. It’s extremely lightweight. Could easily be transported from place to place or used in the car. The lights are bright and even more fun to use with the black background in the dark. There are 2 legs on the back that fold out so it can lay flat on a surface or be elevated at an angle. Highly recommend!

When you turn the drawing board on, it lights up. When you draw on it, the colors are vibrant. The power button cycles through different colors of lights, which is interesting. You can insert a pattern from the top of the board easily enough, but there's no place to store the other pattern boards. Also, there is only storage for four of the "brushes," or pens, but the board comes with six, so you're probably going to lose two of them. There are two legs at the back of the board to stand it up, but it would be better if they were connected. It's pretty cheaply built, doesn't feel like good quality at all, but that could be overcome if there weren't so may other downsides. There are no instructions with it at all, and, even though it's easy to use, just making sure you're using it the way it was intended can be reassuring if something isn't working right. The pattern boards are pretty good, tracing letters and numbers, drawing objects, mazes, simple words, and coloring sheets. The coloring sheets are not going to be a lot of fun with only six colors. Also, cleaning the screen isn't very easy, it's not just a damp cloth, I haven't figured out how to clean it yet.

Very mixed feelings on this product, but it definitely has some great qualities….. Pro: Kids will think this is fun, especially if used in a darkened room Kids can draw both on the clear plastic case and on the plastic coated cards Wipes clean easily with a baby wipe for both 6 included dry erase markers My other dry erase markers also worked with this Con: Legs fold out but feels like they can easily break Batteries (not included) must be taken out at the end of drawing session. There is no OFF switch Dry erase markers can be stored on sides of light board but no room for all of them Light up feature really only shows up in darkened room When our grandchild was in preschool the teachers really encourage us to get him into any activity where he was holding a pen/ pencil to get him ready for learning to write. This activity would be perfect for that as it can be done on the cards or the acrylic clear front. This is just one of many ways that you could encourage pre writing skills. I would love it if you could purchase more activity cards, especially with some girl type themes….this could of course be used by girls but the activity cards are more cars, trucks, etc. We are BIG into arts and crafts at our house and this will be one more thing that is a little different that the grandkids can do. Just be sure to take the batteries out at the end of drawing time!! I would purchase this again, but it probably wont last for years. It would be great though at home or for a long car ride.
