We bought this bike for my 9 year old son. He has a 24" Trek mountain bike which is perfect fit for size. Compared to his peers he is tall so he is more qualified for Blipper as Blipper is suggested for kids over 13 years old.Packaging:Bike arrived in a single box. I didn't see how Amazon delivery person carried the box to my front door but I am guessing he used a dolly since box is too heavy to lift without assistance. Inside the box bike was secured nicely with sufficient use of backing materials. As you can see in the pic box took a beating ( not likely manufacturer's fault but something Amazon needs to keep an eye on) and fortunately there was no damage on the bike.First impression:When you grab it from the box and set on the ground you can feel this is a well-built bike. Cables are neatly tied and tucked away so they dont get in the way of the rider. Footpegs are foldable and has a satisfying click when they are folded. Kickstand holds the heavy bike securely in place with good balance. Paint seems robust despite it is not a glossy paint which would be typical with most bikes and scooters. I was initially concerned about the paint thinking it may scratch =or show dirt easily but after several days of use I can report this seems to be a non-issue.Installation:Bike arrives pretty much assembled. Only thing you need to attach is the handlebar which takes about 2-3 mins max. It is one person installation with second person (optional) can be helpful with holding handlebar in place while first person securing the nuts. Hex tools are provided with the bike but I used my own tools. Amazon product page says you need to install the kickstand but my bike came with kickstand installed so less time wasted on my end. User manual suggests overnight charging but we were very impatient to try it out. Luckily there was plenty of juice in battery to take it around the neighborhood right after we put the bike togetherDrive:Accelerator lever control has a nice feel to it - just the right amount of resistance so you dont end up with a sore thumb at the end of a long ride. Acceleration is fluid and linear with top speed suitable for the target age range. Speed is also consistent. Bike doesnt start building speed going downhill and it doesn't slow down significantly going uphill so this is a positive again for targeted age group. We didnt do an extensive test run but after covering 4-5mile range in 20-25min riding we saw battery level dropping only one bar. I am guessing manufacturer specs are on the conservative side as I think it will give more than 12miles range indicated in the spec. What is probably more important is if the battery will hold up charges in successive uses.Maintenance:With sturdy 16inch fat tires I am hoping we will get a long use of these and wont need to replace it until my son grows out of this. Brakes are drum brake so no need to change brake pads etc. Overall there is almost zero maintenance needed except maybe applying lubricant in tire hub sections.Areas to improve:The bike is super handsome looking thanks to its simplistic design with no pedals, no front brake, no seat adjustment, no handlebar adjustment etc. However all these fixed arrangements can become a long term issue if you have a fast growing kid like mine. While this bike is a perfect fit for him at the moment I can see him outgrowing the bike in 3-4 years. Maybe Droyd will have a different model that will be more tailored to bigger kids or smaller adults. In fact I can see a model for myself that would use a similar frame , beefed up motor and battery and slighly higher handlebars and seats. There is always the possibility to add some harness to raise the handlebar and seat on existing bike. Something manufacturer can note for future models.Final thoughts:All in all, this is a A+ device with good value. Since unit arrived couple days ago my son and I am doing daily runs to grocery store which is pretty much an excuse for him to ride his ebike. Unfortunate thing is my son is hooked to this and will not ride his regular bike as often.

Our two kids both saved up their money and bought these, they're super fun little bikes (I may have taken them for a ride or two :)), I love that they're fairly slow at 12mph so I'm not worried about my kids being in too fast of a crash. Battery life seems good and seems as described.We did have one come and it wouldn't charge, I contacted the company and they promptly sent out a replacement and offered great customer service.Highly recommend these little bikes.

This bike is certainly smaller than most bikes but it’s certainly powerful. I’ve been happy that I can ride it around my small college town. It gets me to class quickly but also can easily fit in the back of my car.The frame is nice. It feels solid. Overall feels like the bike is durable and will last a long time.I’m happy with the battery life especially as I can charge with a normal wall outlet so it’s seamless to use the next day.I’m also happy that is teas super easy to assemble. It had instruction but I didn’t actually use them. It was simple enough and only a few pieces.

6 month in to the purchase the e-bike completely stopped accepting a charge. Have req he’s out to the company for help or replacement parts and received no reply as of yet. My son loved it for while it lasted but in hindsight I would spend more to get from a company that has support and can offer replacement parts. Would change to 5 star if there was some reply from support or ability to repair.

love the bike for my daughter who is 8 years old, not very expensive and works well! the seat is large enough that I can ride it with my daughter on the back! ( depending on weight) speed is not too fast.

2nd bike and they just don’t last…. Just past 6 months and they die…

The media could not be loaded. I’m so glad I bought this electric bike. At first, I was worried that assembling the parts would be difficult but it really only takes a few steps. All you have to do is just tighten 2 screws and connect a cable and double check that all the screws are tight. I also like its brake system and the fact that it’s not too abrupt, otherwise the rider will suddenly jerk forward. The lights are also very bright which is a good safety precaution. It's relaxing to ride and the speed is easy to adjust.

I will start by saying .. purchasing an E-bike is the Last thing on my mind. I didnt think I/we needed an E-bike until my daughter asked for one. She mentioned that ALL her friends has gotten one and that E-bikes are the "in thing" so with that said. Here we are now, weeks later with an E-bike. this bike assembled in less than 10 minutes. Says for 13+ but i was able to ride this bike also, with no issues i.m 5'1 and was able to enjoy the bike . Even my husband was able to get in on the fun.I have to admit The bike itself looks pretty cool! it almost have a dirt bike kinda look. AND its pretty fast!! it said 12mph but its fast enough to give it a fun thrilling ride .Only issue so far is that I wasn't able to turn on the headlights. There was a switch button which I assume was to turn on the lights but it didnt work!! I called customer service and Rocky was so helpful. He said to try to adjust the cables, and sure enough, it turned on. Thats the kind of customer service I Love especially when your kids are excited to use their new Toy!Now the problem is getting my husband to give up the bike so my daughter can ride it!Dont forget to wear your helmet!!
