This container is nice and thick/sturdy. There are also plenty of holes for water and soap to get the things inside clean. The hinges are all actual two-piece hinges, not folding plastic. The straw holders on the side flip it out and up, so they don't need to be out when not in use. You could also remove them and replace them later, however they'd probably be easy to misplace. Mine are staying attached. This would be a great present a new parent-even after the kids are done with bottles and pacifiers, sippy cups tend to have about 728,102 pieces each. It's also good for putting all sorts of small things in the dishwasher--like lids and toys. The lid is made to fit nipples, but also has other gaps and is non-specific enough it could be used for other things. This is a great design. Very tiny things will fall through the sides or bottom, though. Those would probably need to be placed in a mesh bag for the dishwasher, or washed by hand. As with all baskets of this type, you have to be aware of how you arrange the items inside (just like in the regular part of the dishwasher, actually) so everything gets clean. Overall, I am very happy with this. It is high-quality and is the best dishwasher holder/bottle basket I've used.

I HATE hand cleaning bottles as I am lazy and those anti-gas dr. browns bottles were a pain to wash several times a day. There's plenty of room. It fits pacifiers, straws, anti-gas tube thingys from dr. browns bottles, nipples, and sippy cup parts. The straw holders flip down if you do not need them. They also break kinda easy, but I didn't use them much anyway. I wasn't fond of the color (pink), but that doesn't affect the performance and function. I highly recommend this. Great price as well.

I loved the fact this was easily placed in my top rack in the dishwasher. Cleaned the lids, ripples, etc well. Affordable. Easily to install. Storage did not take alot of space.

If you use Avent bottles, there is no way you can fit 14 nipples in the top. I can only fit 5 at a time and they don't snap into place like they are supposed to. Other than that, the basket does what it should. The lower compartment has a removable divider . I find it works great for the screw on nipple holder and ring that goes into the Avent bottles. Don't think you will also fit the lids in here! Once I put five nipples in the top compartment, five inner rings, five outer nipple ring holders and about four pacifiers my basket is pretty full. I went ahead bought another one so I could sterilize more bottles at one time. The baskets just sit sideways in the top rack of your dishwasher so they are pretty user friendly. Overall, it is cheap and works for not letting all those small parts fly around the dishwasher. Update: Since my earlier review I have switched my bottle to Dr. Browns. I can fit even less into these holders than with the Avent! Once again only five nipples will fit in the top compartment unless I want them overlapping. In the bottom compartment I can put the 5 max of the blue tubes in the larger side and 5 max of the nude colored ring that seals the bottle on the smaller side. I have to put the ring that holds the nipple in the dish washer rack because there is no way I could fit anything else in this holder. I am leaving my rating at 4 stars because it still cleans the majority of the bottle components, I would just like the description to be a little more accurate. I think it says it will hold 14 nipples? Um, is that all they are cleaning in the whole basket because there is NO WAY that is happening! If you are using Dr Brown's you may want to look at using their holder instead. Since I already had these previously I am making it work :)

I have to be honest...I didn't look at the product details very carefully when I ordered this. I was pregnant, I saw a picture of it on amazon and thought "cool, a basket to throw small stuff in so they can go in the dishwasher." it wasn't until it arrived that I realized its not JUST a basket to throw things in...it's actually a really well thought out product. There is a loose basket aspect to it, of course, but it actually has a shelf type thing under the lid that lets you line up bottle nipples and keep them in place so they get really clean and don't flip upside down. There are optional slats on the sides that can be used to hold straws or you can just fold them down and get them out of the way. This was great for bottles, pump pieces and now sippy cup lids. it just sits on the rack, so when we don't need it, we just take it out and put it in the cupboard until next time. It's a pretty cool little gadget.

My children are older, so I did not purchase this for baby supplies. I had one of these when they were babies and remembered how handy it was for all those small items that are top dishwasher safe, but often fall through to the bottom during the wash cycle. This one has worked out perfectly. It is sturdy and easy to use. I especially like to use it for the plastic straws that come with the reusable water bottles. These and many more items no longer get lost in the dishwasher.

Great little product. I am able to place my child's baby utensils, sippy cup filters, bottle nipples, sippy straws, & other small top rack dishwasher safe items in this basket without fear that they will fall to the bottom of the dishwasher & melt. I love that I no longer need to hand-wash these items, what a time saver! My 10 month old eats 5-6 times a day, so handwashing & drying his utensils & sippy cup filters was time consuming, and the drying racks I used for these items took up significant counter space. I have used this item multiple times now and everything I have placed inside comes out clean, nothing has come out crusty or melted. There is a divider on the inside which you can place in different positions, I use this to wash the sippy cup filters on one side & baby utensils on the other. I highly recommend this product, great for saving time & your sanity!

Good product

This is a pretty good contraption and I like the quality. Mine turned out to be a different colour than the picture but It doesn't matter. It looks great and does the trick I sneak in breast pump parts as well because they tend to fly around the dishwasher. The only challenge is putting this in my dishwasher when I have a decent load. Every dishwasher is different but it's a bit of a challenge to find a spot where it fits and doesn't take up a lot of real estate. A friend once told me these baskets are useless but I couldn't disagree more! I've had one for almost four years and it's perfect for putting little pieces in -- mostly little spoons, straws from kids' water bottles, small pieces from baby bottles and even icing tips from cake decorating! Anything that would normally get lost in a utensil tray will be safe it this basket.

Must have if you use baby bottles, soothies, etc and have a dishwasher, holds all the nipples, caps, soothies and more, happy we purchased this, it is also good for any small utensils in the kitchen or around the house, etc,. also has an area to put straws.

It takes up the room of 3 medium glasses in the dishwasher so I don't use it often as I rarely have enough small parts that would fill the basket to justify using it. However, when I needed it, I did a good job. I rated it 4 stars because it is a nice to have and not an essential item. I would not have purchased it at this stage, but can see it being used with multiple kids or if I respected the "top rack only" recommendations in all baby products I see.
