The strap is actually 3" wide. It is thick material and the lettering looks very nice. I was worried that it would be cheap looking, but I'm very excited to give this to my dad!

There was a flaw in the leather and it was sent anyway.

This is a disappointment. I wasn't expecting too much but they somehow exceeded my already low expectations. The last letter of hero is basically not visible because they spaced it so low. Many of the letters are clearly fraying right out of the package and first thing said by someone else is "are the letters crooked or a different size? Looks like they messed up." Do not reccomend to anyone, a real let down.

This strap is as basic as it gets. It will work fine. It's fairly wide which I don't mind, but my wife finds it irritates her neck. I would only recommend this if budget is your only concern. For another $5-10 you can find a much nicer strap that will help you enjoy playing.
