Dermatix Gel 60G Tube Silicone Gel - Scar Mangement - 60G

Unfortunately I gave myself severe second degree burns to about 70% of my outer thigh. The injuiry was so severe that I almost required skin graft after the skin became infected, however thankfully my skin started to heal naturally and the graft was not required. After the infection cleared and my skin started rebuilding itself, my leg had suffered deep scar wounds to the surface. As recommended by the manufacturers, I immediately started using dermatix at the premature stages of scarring, literally about 6-8 weeks post accident. I have have been using the gel twice a day (morning and evening) every day for approximately 6 months, my skin has been healing really well, and the scarring is much lighter than I had expected. My friends commented that my skin didn't even look like it was scarred and it looks more like a birth mark. The dermatix gel is very expensive, however you can't put a price on your health, the product is brilliant and delivers on it's promise, unlike a lot of other expensive products out there. Moreover, the use of the dermatix gel has mean't that I have not developed any complications such as keloid or hypertrophic scarring which was a big concern for me. All in all, a great product, however you must be committed to using it for the length of time recommended for good results. It really does work!

It’s very good cream

I have been using this gel on keloid scars on my chest, having previously used other products including silicone sheets. After two months use I can clearly see results - scars are smoother, flatter and faded in colour to be closer to skin pigment. I've just bought my next tube. Downside is that gel doesn't really dry so if you're using under clothing (as I have been) it will mark.

Used this for my c section. My c section looks like a faint line now.

It's expensive but by far the best on the market, in the long run its better and cheaper to buy the large tube.
