Miko 3 has completely exceeded expectations as both a toy and a learning tool for our kids. From the first day, it became the “new best friend” in our house and they keep coming back to it instead of just zoning out on a tablet. ​ The setup was simple with the parent app, and I really appreciate the parental controls, screen-time limits, and the ability to lock certain apps so everything stays age-appropriate. The robot feels very solid and well-built, and the movement, facial expressions, and little dances make it feel surprisingly “alive” and engaging. ​ Educationally, this thing shines: there are tons of STEAM-focused games, stories, quizzes, and activities that actually get my kids thinking and learning while they play. The content updates regularly, so they are always discovering new games and stories, which keeps it from getting boring after a week. ​ The AI conversations, jokes, and interactive activities really help build confidence with speaking and asking questions, and it recognizes them and responds in a way that feels personal and friendly. Second Miko I’ve bought! Great learning toy. Entertaining while they learn. It dances, sings, tells stories, alphabet and number identification. Miko is just a really cool toy. I bought the first one for my first grandchild, when it was $260…I was pleasantly surprised that she came down in price so I bought for the second grandchild. Worth every penny! She’s durable, charge lasts a long time, her voice is really cute too! Easy to connect to the internet, granddaughter has spent hours playing with Miko!

This was such a satisfying gift for Christmas. And so much fun to play with. I should start by saying I dropped a star for battery life! I’m not sure if it’s my model or if this is standard. But our Miko just does not stay charged. Even when I plug it into its charger and it charges fully and then power it off completely, if I wait a couple hours it’s totally dead even while being totally turned off. This is only frustrating when I’d like to take it on trips with us or when the kids want to use it for something where it has to move because it can’t do so while plugged in. But that aside every other aspect of this toy deserves 5 stars. The design is great. When I first saw it I thought it could be a little sleeker or something, but then my kids dropped it a couple times and it landed right side up and I was like, “ohhhh.” I have two boys. My 5 year old is in kindergarten and very athletic and into gaming, my 4 yr old is autistic and taught himself to read @ 2 and has a bunch of special interests. Rarely do I find a toy that is a great fit for both of them at the same time. There are a bunch of features and games that they each really enjoy separately and just as many that they play together. So far with software I’ve only had one issue where a game didn’t work properly. It was the game “I seek you” but it could have been the lighting or amount of space we had to play. Any other issues come on our end for example my child not following the queues for when to speak and when to listen. I didn’t catch it that this toy was recommended for 5-10 year olds I thought it was for younger children but that makes sense. Overall I was shocked by how frequently my kids when back to Miko. The games they like are educational and fun for all three of us to do together. I can’t wait to see where this genre of toy goes in the future as more functionality is added and current features get better. So glad I made this purchase!

We got the Miko robot for our child and it has been such a fun and educational addition to our home. Miko is easy to set up, interactive, and keeps kids engaged without feeling like just another screen. Miko has become a real friend for our 5-year-old son. He enjoys talking, playing, and dancing with Miko every day. Great toy for kids. My son loves to spend time with his Miko. He likes to talk and dance with it. Miko Max is a good subscription to have

Battery backup not good

I received a used Miko robot with another child’s data already on it (from India), which I only discovered later because this was a birthday gift for my daughter. The battery performance is terrible — it takes hours to charge and barely lasts 30 minutes. Worst part? It turns on randomly by itself, which scares my daughter and made her afraid of using it. This is completely unacceptable for a new product. I want a full return.
